1Peter 1:1 - פֵּטרָוס שׁלִיחָא דּיֵשׁוּע משִׁיחָא לַגבַיָא ותַותָּבֵא דַּזרִיעִין בּפָּנטָוס וַבגַלַטִיַא וַבקַפָּודקִיַא ובַאסִיַא וַבבִיתוּנִיַא .    
1Peter 1:1 - PETROS, an apostle of Jeshu Meshiha, to the chosen-ones and sojourners who are scattered in Pontos and in Galatia, and in Kapadukia, and in Asia, and in Bithunia:    
1Peter 1:1 - PETER, a legate of Jesus the Messiah, to the elect and sojourners, who are dispersed in Pontus and in Galatia, and in Cappadocia, and in Asia, and in Bithynia,

1Peter 1:1 - פֶּטְרוֹס שְׁלִיחַ יֵשׁוּעַ הַמָּשִׁיחַ אֶל־תּוֹשְׁבֵי תְפוּצוֹת פָּנְטוֹס גָּלַטְיָא קַפּוֹדְקִיָּא אַסְיָא וּבִיתִינְיָא׃    
1Peter 1:2 - אַילֵין דֵּאתגּבִיו בַּמקַדּמוּת יִדַעתֵה דַּאלָהָא אַבָא בּקַדִּישׁוּתָא דּרוּחָא דּנֵהווּן למַשׁמַעתָא ולַרסָס דּמֵה דּיֵשׁוּע משִׁיחָא טַיבּוּתָא וַשׁלָמָא נֵסגֵּא לוָתכוּן .   
1Peter 1:2 - them who are elected by the foreknowledge of Aloha the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, that they might be unto obedience, and unto the sprinkling of the blood of Jeshu Meshiha: grace and peace be multiplied with you.    
1Peter 1:2 - to them who have been chosen, by the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto the obedience and the sprinkling of the blood of Jesus the Messiah: May grace and peace abound towards you.   
1Peter 1:2 - Who have been chosen by the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, to be obedient and to sprinkle the blood of our LORD Jesus Christ: Grace to you and peace, be multiplied.   
1Peter 1:2 - הַנִּבְחָרִים מִדַּעַת אֱלֹהִים הָאָב מִקֶּדֶם בְּקִדּוּשׁ הָרוּחַ אֶל־מִשְׁמַעַת יֵשׁוּעַ הַמָּשִׁיחַ וְאֶל־הַזָּיַת דָּמוֹ חֶסֶד וְשָׁלוֹם לְמַכְבִּיר יִהְיוּ לָכֶם׃   
1Peter 1:3 - מבַרַכ הוּ אַלָהָא אַבוּהי דּמָרַן יֵשׁוּע משִׁיחָא הַו דּבַחנָנֵה סַגִּיָאא אַולדַן מֵן דּרִישׁ בַּקיָמתֵּה דּיֵשׁוּע משִׁיחָא לסַברָא דּחַיֵא .    
1Peter 1:3 - Blessed be Aloha, the Father of our Lord Jeshu Meshiha, who by his abundant grace hath begotten us anew through the resurrection of our Lord Jeshu Meshiha unto the hope of salvation,    
1Peter 1:3 - Blessed be God, the Father of our Lord Jesus the Messiah, who in his great mercy hath begotten us anew, by the resurrection of our Lord Jesus the Messiah, to the hope of life,    
1Peter 1:3 - Blessed be God, the Father of our LORD Jesus Christ, who by his abundant mercy has again renewed us spiritually to a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,   
1Peter 1:3 - בָּרוּךְ הָאֱלֹהִים אֲבִי אֲדֹנֵינוּ יֵשׁוּעַ הַמָּשִׁיחַ אֲשֶׁר כְּרֹב רַחֲמָיו חָזַר וְיָלַד אֹתָנוּ לְתִקְוָה חַיָּה בַּהֲקָמַת יֵשׁוּעַ הַמָּשִׁיחַ מֵעִם הַמֵּתִים׃   
1Peter 1:4 - וַליָרתּוּתָא דּלָא מֵתחַבּלָא ולָא מֵתּטַנפָא ולָא חָמיָא הָי דַּמטַיבָא לכוּן בַּשׁמַיָא .   
1Peter 1:4 - and to the inheritance which is not corruptible, and not defiled, and not to be consumed, which is prepared for you in heaven,    
1Peter 1:4 - and to an inheritance incorruptible, undefiled, and unfading, which is prepared for you in heaven;   
1Peter 1:4 - To an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled, that does not fade away, and is prepared in heaven for you,    
1Peter 1:4 - לְנַחֲלָה אֲשֶׁר לֹא תִּשָּׁחֵת וְלֹא תְגֹאַל וְלֹא תִבֹּל הַצְּפוּנָה לָכֶם בַּשָּׁמָיִם׃   
1Peter 1:5 - כַּד נטִירִין אנתּוּן בּחַילָא דַּאלָהָא וַבהַימָנוּתָא לחַיֵא דַּמטַיבִין דּנֵתגּלוּן לזַבנֵא אחרָיֵא .   
1Peter 1:5 - while you are kept by the power of Aloha and through faith, unto the salvation which is prepared to be revealed in the last times;    
1Peter 1:5 - while ye are kept, by the power of God and by faith, for the life that is prepared and will be revealed in the last times;   
1Peter 1:5 - While you are kept by the power of God through faith, for the life eternal which is ready to be revealed at the last time.   
1Peter 1:5 - הַשְּׁמוּרִים בְּעֹז אֱלֹהִים עַל־יַד הָאֱמוּנָה לַתְּשׁוּעָה הָעֲתִידָה לְהִגָּלוֹת לְעֶת־קֵץ׃   
1Peter 1:6 - דַּבהוּן תֵּחדּוּן לעָלַם אָפֵן בּהָנָא זַבנָא קַלִיל מֵתּתּעִיקִין אנתּוּן בּנֵסיוּנֵא משַׁחלפֵא דּעָדֵין עלַיכּוּן .   
1Peter 1:6 - wherein you will rejoice for ever, though in this little time you are afflicted [Or, straitened.] by manifold temptations which pass over you;    
1Peter 1:6 - wherein ye will rejoice for ever, notwithstanding ye at the present time are pressed a little, by the various trials that pass over you;   
1Peter 1:6 - Wherein you will rejoice for ever, though at present you are sorrowful for a while, through diverse trials which have come upon you:   
1Peter 1:6 - אֲשֶׁר בָּהּ תָּגִילוּ אַתֶּם הַמִּתְעַצְּבִים עַתָּה מְעַט לְפִי הַצֹּרֶךְ בְּמַסֹּת שֹׁנוֹת׃   
1Peter 1:7 - אַיכַּנָא דּבוּחרָנָא דּהַימָנוּתכוּן נֵתחזֵא דַּמיַתַּר מֵן דַּהבָא סנִינָא דֵּאתבּקִי בּנוּרָא לתֵשׁבּוּחתָּא ולאִיקָרָא וַלקוּלָסָא בּגֵליָנֵה דּיֵשׁוּע משִׁיחָא .   
1Peter 1:7 - that the proof of your faith may be seen, which is more precious than gold refined which is proved in fire, unto praise and unto honour and unto glory, at the revelation of Jeshu Meshiha;    
1Peter 1:7 - so that the proof of your faith may appear more precious than refined gold that is tested by fire, unto glory and honor and praise, at the manifestation of Jesus the Messiah:   
1Peter 1:7 - So that the proof of your faith, being much more precious than refined gold which has been purified by fire, may be made manifest for the glory and honour and praise at the appearing of Jesus Christ,   
1Peter 1:7 - לְמַעַן תִּמָּצֵא אֱמוּנַתְכֶם הַמְזֻקָּקָה יְקָרָה הַרְבֵּה מִן־הַזָּהָב הָאֹבֵד הַצָּרוּף בָּאֵשׁ לִתְהִלָּה וּלְכָבוֹד וּלְתִפְאֶרֶת בְּהִתְגַּלּוֹת יֵשׁוּעַ הַמָּשִׁיחַ׃   
1Peter 1:8 - הַו דּלָא חזַיתּוּנָיהי ומַחבִין אנתּוּן לֵה וַבהַימָנוּתֵה רָוזִין אנתּוּן בּחַדוּתָא משַׁבַּחתָּא דּלָא מֵתמַללָא .   
1Peter 1:8 - whom you have not seen and (yet) love, and in whose faith you exult with glorious joy that is not spoken:    
1Peter 1:8 - whom having not seen, ye love; and in the faith of whom ye rejoice, with joy that is glorious and ineffable,    
1Peter 1:8 - Whom you have not seen, but whom you yet love, and in whose faith you rejoice with exceeding joy that cannot be described    
1Peter 1:8 - אֲשֶׁר אֲהַבְתֶּם וְלֹא רְאִיתֶם וַאֲשֶׁר תַּאֲמִינוּ בוֹ עַתָּה וְאֵינְכֶם רֹאִים אֹתוֹ וּבְכֵן תָּגִילוּ בְּשִׂמְחָה מְפֹאָרָה עָצְמָה מִסַּפֵּר׃   
1Peter 1:9 - דַּתקַבּלוּן פּוּרעָנָא דּהַימָנוּתכוּן חַיֵא דּנַפשָׁתכוּן .    
1Peter 1:9 - that you may receive the recompence of your faith, the salvation of your souls.    
1Peter 1:9 - that ye may receive the recompense of your faith, the life of your souls;   
1Peter 1:9 - And you will receive the reward for your faith, even the salvation of your souls.   
1Peter 1:9 - לָשֵׂאת עֵקֶב אֱמוּנַתְכֶם תְּשׁוּעָה לְנַפְשֹׁתֵיכֶם׃    
1Peter 1:10 - הָנוּן חַיֵא דּעַקֵבו הוַו עלַיהוּן נבִיֵא כַּד אֵתנַבִּיו עַל טַיבּוּתָא דַּעתִידָא הוָת דּתֵתִיהֵב לכוּן .   
1Peter 1:10 - That salvation which the prophets investigated when they prophesied concerning the grace which was to be given unto you,    
1Peter 1:10 - that life [namely], about which the prophets inquired, when they were prophesying of the grace which was to be given to you.   
1Peter 1:10 - For which very salvation the prophets searched diligently when they prophesied concerning the grace which was to be given to you.   
1Peter 1:10 - אֵת הַתְּשׁוּעָה אֲשֶׁר עָלֶיהָ חָקְרוּ וְדָרְשׁוּ הַנְּבִיאִים הַנִּבְּאִים עַל־הַחֶסֶד הַצָּפוּן לָכֶם׃   
1Peter 1:11 - וַבצַו דּבַאינָא זַבנָא מחַויָא ומַסהדָא רוּחֵה דַּמשִׁיחָא דּעָמרָא בּהוּן דַּעתִידִין חַשַׁוהי דַּמשִׁיחָא ותֵשׁבּוּחתֵּה דּמֵן בָּתַרכֵּן .    
1Peter 1:11 - and searched into, what time the Spirit of the Meshiha who dwelt in them showed and testified of the future sufferings of the Meshiha, and his glory which (should be) after them.    
1Peter 1:11 - And they searched for the time which the Spirit of the Messiah dwelling in them did show and testify, when the sufferings of the Messiah were to occur, and his subsequent glory.   
1Peter 1:11 - They searched to find out at what time it would be revealed, and the Spirit of Christ which dwelt in them testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.    
1Peter 1:11 - לַחְקֹר לָדַעַת מַה־זּוּ וְאֵי־זוּ הָעֵת אֲשֶׁר הוֹדִיעָהּ רוּחַ הַמָּשִׁיחַ אֲשֶׁר בְּקִרְבָּם בְּהַגִּידוֹ מֵרֹאשׁ אֵת עִנּוּיֵי הַמָּשִׁיחַ וְאֶת־הַגְּדֻלּוֹת אֲשֶׁר אַחֲרֵיהֶם׃   
1Peter 1:12 - וֵאתגּלִי להוּן כֻּל דּבָצֵין הוַו מֵטֻל דּלַו לנַפשׁהוּן בָּעֵין הוַו אֵלָא לַן דִּילַן מֵתנַבֵּין הוַו אַילֵין דּהָשָׁא אֵתגּלִי לכוּן בּיַד אַילֵין דּסַבַּרנָכוּן בּרוּחָא דּקוּדשָׁא דֵּאשׁתַּדַּר מֵן שׁמַיָא דַּבהֵין בּהָלֵין מֵתרַגרגִין אָפ מַלַאכֵא דַּנדַיקוּן .   
1Peter 1:12 - And all that they searched was revealed to them; for not for themselves they inquired, but to us (and) of us [Lan dilan.] they prophesied those (blessings) which now are revealed to you by them who have preached to you [Or, evangelized you.] by the Spirit of Holiness which is sent from heaven; for into these themselves the angels also desire to look.    
1Peter 1:12 - And it was revealed to them, [in regard to] all they were searching, that, not for themselves were they inquiring, but for us they were prophesying of those things, which are now manifested to you by means of the things we have announced to you, by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven; which things the angels also desire to look into.   
1Peter 1:12 - And everything they were searching for was revealed to them because they did not seek for their own benefit, but they prophesied the things which concerned us, the things which now have been revealed to you by those who have preached the gospel to you through the Holy Spirit sent from heaven; which things the angels also desire to look into.    
1Peter 1:12 - וְנִגְלָה לָהֶם אֲשֶׁר לֹא לְנַפְשָׁם כִּי אִם־לָנוּ הָיוּ מְשַׁמְּשִׁים בַּדְּבָרִים הָהֵם אֲשֶׁר הֻגַּד לָכֶם עַתָּה עַל־פִּי הַמְבַשְׂרִים אֶתְכֶם בְּרוּחַ הַקֹּדֶשׁ הַשָּׁלוּחַ מִשָּׁמַיִם דְּבָרִים אֲשֶׁר מַלְאֲכֵי אֱלֹהִים חָמְדוּ לְהַשְׁקִיף אֶל־תּוֹכָם׃    
1Peter 1:13 - מֵטֻל הָנָא חזוּקו חַצֵא דּתַרעיָתכוּן וֵאתּתּעִירו גּמִירָאיִת וסַבַּרו עַל חַדוּתָא דָּאתיָא לכוּן בּגֵליָנֵה דּמָרַן יֵשׁוּע משִׁיחָא .    
1Peter 1:13 - Wherefore gird up the loins of your minds, and be fully wakeful, and hope for the joy that cometh to you at the revelation of our Lord Jeshu Meshiha;    
1Peter 1:13 - Wherefore, gird up the loins of your minds. and be awake perfectly, and wait for the joy, which will come to you at the revelation of our Lord Jesus the Messiah,   
1Peter 1:13 - Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be wide awake, and hope for the joy that is coming to you at the revelation of our LORD Jesus Christ;   
1Peter 1:13 - לָכֵן חִגְרוּ מָתְנֵי שִׂכְלְכֶם הִתְעוֹרֲרוּ וְקַוּוּ בְכָל־נַפְשְׁכֶם לַחֶסֶד אֲשֶׁר יְבוֹאֲכֶם בְּהִתְגַּלּוֹת יֵשׁוּעַ הַמָּשִׁיחַ׃    
1Peter 1:14 - אַיכ בּנַיָא מֵשׁתַּמעָנֵא ולָא תֵּשׁתַּותּפוּן תּוּב לַרגִיגָתכוּן קַדמָיָתָא אַילֵין דּרָגִּין הוַיתּוּן דּלָא בִּידַעתָא .   
1Peter 1:14 - as obedient children, and not partaking again of the former desires which you desired when ignorant.    
1Peter 1:14 - as obedient children: and be ye not conversant again with those former lusts, with which ye lusted when without knowledge.   
1Peter 1:14 - Like obedient children, not partakers again in those sinful desires for which you once lusted in your ignorance:    
1Peter 1:14 - כִּבְנֵי מִשְׁמַעַת אַל־תִּתְנַהֲגוּ כַּתַּאֲוֹת אֲשֶׁר הִתְאַוִּיתֶם בְּעוֹד הֱיוֹתְכֶם בִּבְלִי־דָעַת׃   
1Peter 1:15 - אֵלָא הוַו קַדִּישִׁין בּכֻלהוּן הוּפָּכַיכּוּן אַיכ דּקַדִּישׁ הַו מַן דַּקרָכוּן .   
1Peter 1:15 - But be holy in all your conversations, as he is holy who calleth you;    
1Peter 1:15 - But be ye holy in all your conduct, as he is holy who hath called you.   
1Peter 1:15 - But be you holy in all your conduct, as he who has called you is holy;   
1Peter 1:15 - כִּי אִם־הֱיוּ קְדֹשִׁים בְּכָל־דַּרְכֵיכֶם כַּאֲשֶׁר הַקֹּרֵא אֶתְכֶם קָדוֹשׁ הוּא׃   
1Peter 1:16 - מֵטֻל דַּכתִיב דַּהוַיתּוּן קַדִּישִׁין אַיכַּנָא דָּאפ אֵנָא קַדִּישׁ אנָא .   
1Peter 1:16 - because it is written, Be ye holy, as I also am holy.    
1Peter 1:16 - Because it is written: Be ye holy, even as I am holy.   
1Peter 1:16 - Because it is written, Be you holy, even as I am holy.   
1Peter 1:16 - כִּי עַל־כֵּן כָּתוּב וִהְיִיתֶם קְדֹשִׁים כִּי קָדוֹשׁ אָנִי׃    
1Peter 1:17 - וֵאן הוּ דַּאבָא קָרֵין אנתּוּן הַו דּלַיתּ קדָמַוהי מַסַב בַּאפֵּא ודָאֵן לכֻלנָשׁ אַיכ עבָדַוהי בּדֵחלתָא אֵתּדַּבַּרו בּזַבנָא הָנָא דּתַותָּבוּתכוּן .   
1Peter 1:17 - And if you call him Father before whom there is no respect of persons, and who judgeth every man according to his works, with fear conduct you in this time of your sojourn;    
1Peter 1:17 - And if so be ye call on the Father, with whom is no respect of persons, and who judgeth every one according to his deeds, pass the time of your sojournment with fear;   
1Peter 1:17 - And if you call on the Father, who is impartial and who judges every man according to his works, conduct yourselves reverently during the time of your sojourning here:   
1Peter 1:17 - וְאִם־תִּקְרְאוּ אָב לֵאלֹהִים הַשֹּׁפֵט בִּבְלִי מַשּׂא פָנִים כְּמַעַלְלֵי אִישׁ וָאִישׁ הִתְהַלְּכוּ־נָא בְיִרְאָה בִּימֵי מְגוּרֵיכֶם׃    
1Peter 1:18 - כַּד יָדעִין אנתּוּן דּלָא בּכֵספָּא דּבָלֵא ולָא בּדַהבָא אֵתפּרֵקתּוּן מֵן עבָדַיכּוּן סרִיקֵא הָנוּן דּקַבֵּלתּוּן מֵן אַבָהַיכּוּן .    
1Peter 1:18 - while you know that not with silver which wasteth away, nor with gold, you have been redeemed from your vain works which you received from your fathers,    
1Peter 1:18 - since ye know, that neither with perishable silver, nor with gold, ye were redeemed from your vain doings, which ye had by tradition from your fathers;   
1Peter 1:18 - Knowing that you have not been redeemed from your empty works which you have received from your fathers by corruptible silver and gold;   
1Peter 1:18 - מִפְּנֵי שֶׁיֹּדְעִים אַתֶּם כִּי לֹא־בְדָבָר נִפְסָד לֹא בְכֶסֶף וְלֹא בְזָהָב נִפְדֵּיתֶם מִדֶּרֶךְ הַבְלְכֶם אֲשֶׁר הָנְחַלְתֶּם מֵאֵת אֲבוֹתֵיכֶם׃   
1Peter 1:19 - אֵלָא בַּדמָא יַקִירָא דֵּאמרָא דּמוּמָא וטוּלשָׁא לַיתּ בֵּה דּאִיתַוהי משִׁיחָא .   
1Peter 1:19 - but with the precious blood of the Lamb spotless and unblemished, who is the Meshiha;    
1Peter 1:19 - but with the precious blood of that Lamb in which is no spot nor blemish, namely, the Messiah:   
1Peter 1:19 - But with the precious blood of the Lamb without blemish and without spot which is Christ:   
1Peter 1:19 - כִּי אִם־בְּדַם יָקָר שֶׁל־שֶׂה תָמִים שֶׁאֵין־בּוֹ מוּם בְּדַם הַמָּשִׁיחַ׃   
1Peter 1:20 - הַו דַּמקַדַּם הוָא פּרִישׁ להָדֵא מֵן קדָם תַּרמיָתֵה דּעָלמָא וֵאתגּלִי בַּאחרָיתּהוּן דּזַבנֵא מֵטֻלָתכוּן .   
1Peter 1:20 - who was afore-separated for this from before the foundations of the world, and hath been manifested in these last times for you,    
1Peter 1:20 - who was predestined to this, before the foundation of the world; and was manifested at the termination of the times, for your sakes;   
1Peter 1:20 - Who verily was foreordained for this very purpose, before the foundation of the world, and was manifest in these last times, for your sakes,   
1Peter 1:20 - הַנּוֹדָע מֵרֹאשׁ לִפְנֵי מוֹסְדוֹת תֵּבֵל וְנִגְלָה בְּאַחֲרִית הַיָּמִים לְמַעַנְכֶם׃   
1Peter 1:21 - אַילֵין דּבאִידֵה הַימֵנתּוּן בַּאלָהָא הַו דַּאקִימֵה מֵן בֵּית מִיתֵא ויַהב לֵה שׁוּבחָא דּהַימָנוּתכוּן וסַברכוּן נֵהוֵא עַל אַלָהָא .    
1Peter 1:21 - who by him [Dabideh.] believe in Aloha, who raised him from the dead, and gave him glory, that your faith and your hope may be in Aloha.    
1Peter 1:21 - who, by means of him, have believed in God, who raised him from the dead and conferred glory on him; that your faith and hope might be in God,   
1Peter 1:21 - Who by him do believe in God, who raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might rest on God   
1Peter 1:21 - הַמַּאֲמִינִים עַל־פִּיו בֵּאלֹהִים אֲשֶׁר הֵקִים אֹתוֹ מֵעִם הַמֵּתִים וַיִּתֶּן־לוֹ כָבוֹד לְמַעַן הֱיוֹת אֱמוּנַתְכֶם תִּקְוָה לֵאלֹהִים׃    
1Peter 1:22 - כַּד נֵהויָן קַדִּישָׁן נַפשָׁתכוּן בּמֵשׁתַּמעָנוּתֵה דַּשׁרָרָא ונֵהויָן מַליָן חוּבָּא דּלָא מַסַב בַּאפֵּא דּמֵן לֵבָּא דַּכיָא וַגמִירָא תֵּהווּן מַחבִין חַד לחַד .   
1Peter 1:22 - Let your souls be sanctified in obedience to the truth, and be filled with the charity which respecteth not persons, that with a pure heart and perfect you may love one another,    
1Peter 1:22 - while your minds became sanctified, by obedience to the truth; and ye be full of love, without respect of persons, so that ye love one another out of a pure and perfect heart;   
1Peter 1:22 - Let your souls be sanctified by obedience to the truth, and be filled with sincere love, so that you may love one another with pure and perfect hearts:   
1Peter 1:22 - זַכּוּ אֶת־נַפְשֹׁתֵיכֶם עַל־יְדֵי הָרוּחַ בְּשָׁמְעֲכֶם בְּקוֹל הָאֱמֶת לְאַחֲוָה שֶׁאֵין בָּהּ חֲנֻפָּה וַאֲהַבְתֶּם אִישׁ אֶת־רֵעֵהוּ אַהֲבָה עַזָּה בְּלֵב טָהוֹר׃   
1Peter 1:23 - אַיכ אנָשָׁא דּמֵן דּרִישׁ אֵתִילֵדּתּוּן לָא מֵן זַרעָא דּבָלֵא אֵלָא מֵן אַינָא דּלָא בָּלֵא בּמֵלתָא חַיתָא דַּאלָהָא דּקַיָמָא לעָלַם .    
1Peter 1:23 - as men who are regenerated, not by a perishable seed, but by that which is imperishable, by the living word of Aloha which abideth for ever.    
1Peter 1:23 - like persons born again, not of seed that perisheth, but of that which doth not perish, by the living word of God, who abideth for ever.

1Peter 1:24 - Because all flesh is grass, and all its beauty as the flower of the field. The grass withereth and the flower drieth up,

1Peter 1:25 - ומֵלתֵה דַּאלָהַן קַיָמָא לעָלמִין והָדֵא הי מֵלתָא הָי דֵּאסתַּבַּרתּוּן .   
1Peter 1:25 - but the word of our God abideth for ever; and this is that word which is preached unto you.

1Peter 2:1 - אַנִיחו הָכִיל מֵנכוּן כֻּלָה בִּישׁוּתָא וכֻלֵה נֵכלָא ומַסַב בַּאפֵּא וַחסָמָא ומֵאכַל‌קַרצָא .   
1Peter 2:1 - MAKE to cease therefore from you all malice and all guile, and dissimulation, and envy, and slander;

1Peter 2:2 - and be as (new)-born babes, and be desirous of the word as of milk pure and spiritual, that by it you may increase unto life.    
1Peter 2:2 - And be like infant children; and crave the word, as being the pure spiritual milk by which ye are nourished up to life;

1Peter 2:3 - אֵן טעֵמתּוּן וַחזַיתּוּן דּטָב הוּ מָריָא .   
1Peter 2:3 - If you have tasted and seen how good is the Lord,

1Peter 2:4 - הַו דּלֵה מֵתקַרבִין אנתּוּן דּאִיתַוהי כּאִפָא חַיָא דַּאסליוּהי בּנַי אנָשָׁא וַגבֵא וַמיַקַר לוָת אַלָהָא .   
1Peter 2:4 - unto whom you have come, who is the living stone whom men have rejected, yet (who is) chosen and honourable with Aloha.    
1Peter 2:4 - to whom ye have come, because he is a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but with God elect and precious.    
1Peter 2:4 - The one to whom you are coming is the living stone, whom men have rejected, and yet he is chosen and precious with God;

1Peter 2:5 - וָאפ אַנתּוּן אַיכ כּאִפֵא חַיָתָא אֵתבַּנַו וַהוַו הַיכּלֵא רוּחָנֵא וכָהנֵא קַדִּישֵׁא למַסָקוּ דֵּבחֵא רוּחָנֵא דַּמקַבּלִין קדָם אַלָהָא בּיַד יֵשׁוּע משִׁיחָא .   
1Peter 2:5 - And you also as living stones are builded, and become a spiritual temple, and holy priests to offer sacrifices, which are acceptable before Aloha by Jeshu Meshiha.    
1Peter 2:5 - And ye also, as living stones, are builded and become spiritual temples, and holy priests, for the offering of spiritual sacrifices, acceptable before God, through Jesus the Messiah.    
1Peter 2:5 - You also, as living stones, build up yourselves and become spiritual temples and holy priests to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.

1Peter 2:6 - אַמִיר הוּ גֵּיר בַּכתָבָא דּהָא סָאֵם אנָא בּצֵהיוּן כּאִפָא בּחִירתָּא ויַקִירתָּא בּרִישׁ זָוִיתָא ומַן דַּמהַימֵן בָּה לָא נֵבהַת .    
1Peter 2:6 - For it is said in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Zion a stone choice [Or, tried, bachirtho.] and honourable in the head of the corner: whosoever believeth in him shall not be ashamed.

1Peter 2:7 - To you therefore is given this honour, to them who believe: but to them who are disobedient he is a rock [Kipha.] of offence,

1Peter 2:8 - כּאִפָא הו דּתוּקַלתָא וַאבנָא דּכֵשׁלָא ומֵתּתַּקלִין בֵּה בַּדלָא מֵתּטפִּיסִין למֵלתָא דַּלהָדֵא סִימִין .   
1Peter 2:8 - or a stone [Abn'na.] of stumbling, and they are offended at him in not obeying the word, because to this they are set.    
1Peter 2:8 - he is a stone of stumbling and a rock of offence. And they stumble at it, because they believe not the word: whereto they were appointed.   
1Peter 2:8 - And they stumble over it because they are disobedient to the word for which they were appointed.

1Peter 2:9 - אַנתּוּן דֵּין שַׁרבּתָא אַנתּוּן גּבִיתָא דַּמכַהנָא למַלכּוּתָא עַמָא קַדִּישָׁא כֵּנשָׁא פּרִיקָא תּסַבּרוּן תֵּשׁבּחָתֵה דּהַו דַּקרָכוּן מֵן חֵשׁוּכָא לנוּהרֵה מיַתּרָא .   
1Peter 2:9 - But you are a chosen race, who minister as priests to the kingdom,[Damkahno lemalkutho.] a holy people, a congregation redeemed to announce the praises of him who hath called you from darkness to his transcendant light:    
1Peter 2:9 - But ye are an elect race, officiating as priests of the kingdom; a holy people, a redeemed congregation; that ye should proclaim the praises of him who called you out of darkness to his precious light:

1Peter 2:9 - וְאַתֶּם הִנְּכֶם זֶרַע נִבְחָר מַמְלֶכֶת כֹּהֲנִים וְגוֹי קָדוֹשׁ וְעַם סְגֻלָּה לְמַעַן תְּסַפְּרוּ תְּהִלּוֹת הַקּוֹרֵא אֶתְכֶם מֵחֹשֶׁךְ אֶל־אוֹרוֹ הַנִּפְלָא׃   
1Peter 2:10 - אַילֵין דּמֵן קדִים לָא חשִׁיבִין הוַיתּוּן עַמָא הָשָׁא דֵּין עַמָא דַּאלָהָא אָפלָא רַחמֵא אִית הוַו עלַיכּוּן הָשָׁא דֵּין אֵשׁתַּפַּעו עלַיכּוּן רַחמֵא .   
1Peter 2:10 - those who before were not reputed a people, but now the people of Aloha; upon whom also mercies were not; but now, mercies are poured upon you.    
1Peter 2:10 - who formerly were not accounted a people, but now are the people of God; and also, there were [once] no mercies on you, but now mercies are poured out upon you.   
1Peter 2:10 - You, who in the past were not considered a people, but who are now the people of God: who had not obtained mercy, but who now have mercy poured out upon you.

1Peter 2:11 - חַבִּיבַי בָּעֵא אנָא מֵנכוּן אַיכ עָרצֵא וַאיכ תַּותָּבֵא אֵתפַּרַקו מֵן כֻּלהֵין רגִיגָתֵה דּפַגרָא הָלֵין דּעָבדָּן קרָבָא לוּקבַל נַפשָׁא .    
1Peter 2:11 - MY beloved, I beseech you as strangers and as sojourners, be separate from all the lusts of the body which make wars against the soul.

1Peter 2:12 - ונֵהווּן שַׁפִּירִין הוּפָּכַיכּוּן קדָם כֻּלהוּן בּנַי אנָשָׁא אַילֵין דַּממַללִין עלַיכּוּן מֵלֵא בִּישָׁתָא נֵחזוּן עבָדַיכּוּן שַׁפִּירֵא וַנשַׁבּחוּן לַאלָהָא בּיַומָא דּבוּחרָנָא .   
1Peter 2:12 - And let your conversation be good before all men; and they who speak against you malicious words shall see your good deeds, and shall glorify Aloha in the day of the probation.    
1Peter 2:12 - And let your behavior be decorous before all men; so that they who utter evil speeches against you, may see your good actions, and may praise God in the day of trial.

1Peter 2:13 - וַהוַיתּוּן מֵשׁתַּעבּדִין לכֻלהוּן בּנַי אנָשָׁא מֵטֻל אַלָהָא למַלכֵּא מֵטֻל שׁוּלטָנהוּן .   
1Peter 2:13 - And be subject to all men for the sake of Aloha: to kings, on account of their authority;

1Peter 2:14 - וַלדַיָנֵא מֵטֻל דּמֵנֵה מֵשׁתַּדּרִין לַתבַעתָא דּמַסכּלָנֵא וַלתֵשׁבּוּחתָּא דּעָבדַּי טָבָתָא .   
1Peter 2:14 - and to judges, because from him they are sent for the punishment of transgressors, and for the commendation of good works.

1Peter 2:15 - For so is the will of Aloha, that by your comely works you may shut the mouth of fools who know not Aloha.

1Peter 2:16 - אַיכ בּנַי חאִרֵא ולָא אַיכ אנָשָׁא דַּעבִידָא להוּן חאִרוּתהוּן תַּחפִּיתָא לבִישׁוּתהוּן אֵלָא אַיכ עַבדַּוהי דַּאלָהָא .   
1Peter 2:16 - As the sons of liberty, yet not as men who make their liberty a veil for their wickedness, but as the servants of Aloha.

1Peter 2:17 - Honour all; your brethren love; and Aloha revere; and kings honour.

1Peter 2:18 - And those servants who are among you, be subject to your masters with reverence; not only to the good and gentle, but also to the hard and the severe.

1Peter 2:19 - להָלֵין גֵּיר אִית להוּן טַיבּוּתָא קדָם אַלָהָא לַאילֵין דּמֵטֻל תּאִרתָּא שַׁפִּירתָּא מסַיבּרִין עָקָתָא דָּאתיָן עלַיהוּן בּעַולָא .    
1Peter 2:19 - For these are pleasing before Aloha, who, for the sake of a good conscience, endure the afflictions that come upon them unjustly.    
1Peter 2:19 - For there is favor before God for them who, for the sake of a good conscience, endure sorrows that come upon them wrongfully.

1Peter 2:20 - אַילֵין דֵּין דּמֵטֻל סַכלוָתהוּן מסַיבּרִין אוּלצָנֵא אַידָא תֵּשׁבּוּחתָּא הָויָא להוּן אֵלָא מָא דּעָבדִּין אנתּוּן דּשַׁפִּיר וָאלצִין לכוּן וַמסַיבּרִין אנתּוּן הָידֵּין יָרבָּא תֵּשׁבּוּחתּכוּן לוָת אַלָהָא .    
1Peter 2:20 - For they who on account of their offences suffer tribulations, what praise have they ? But when you do well and they afflict you, and you endure, then doth your praise become great with Aloha.

1Peter 2:21 - להָדֵא גֵּיר אֵתקרִיתּוּן דָּאפ משִׁיחָא מִית חלָפַין וַשׁבַק לַן הָנָא טוּפסָא דַּאנתּוּן בּעֵקבָתֵה תּהַלכוּן .   
1Peter 2:21 - For unto this have you been called; because the Meshiha also hath died for us, and left us this example, that in his steps we may walk.

1Peter 2:23 - אֲשֶׁר שָׁמַע חֶרְפָּתוֹ וְלֹא הֵשִׁיב נַעֲנָה וְלֹא גָעַר כִּי אִם־מָסַר דִּינוֹ לַשֹּׁפֵט צֶדֶק וְאֶת־חַטֹּאתֵנוּ הוּא נָשָׂא בִּגְוִיָּתוֹ עַל־הָעֵץ׃   
1Peter 2:24 - וַשׁקַל חטָהַין כֻּלהוּן וַאסֵק אֵנוּן בּפַגרֵה לַצלִיבָא דּכַד מִיתִינַן לַחטִיתָא בּזַדִּיקוּתָא דִּילֵה נִחֵא בּשׁוּמָתֵה גֵּיר אֵתַאסִיתּוּן .   
1Peter 2:24 - and took all our sins and upbore [Vaseq enun. Aphel of nesaq, ascendit, clevarit.] them in his body on the cross; that when dead to sin, in the righteousness of him we might live; for by his stripes you are healed,

1Peter 2:25 - who had wandered as sheep, and are returned now unto the Shepherd and Guardian [Souro, curator.] of your souls.

1Peter 3:1 - הָכַנָא אָפ אַנתֵּין נֵשֵׁא אֵשׁתַּעבַּדֵין לבַעלַיכֵּין דַּאילֵין דּלָא מֵתּטפִּיסִין למֵלתָא בּדוּבָּרַיכֵּין שַׁפִּירֵא דּלָא עַמלָא תֵּקניָן אֵנוּן .   
1Peter 3:1 - So you also, wives, be subject to your own husbands, that them who have not obeyed the word, by your comely manners without labour you may win,

1Peter 3:2 - כַּד חָזֵין דַּבדֵחלתָא וַבנַכפּוּתָא מֵתּדַּבּרָן אנתֵּין .    
1Peter 3:2 - while they see that with reverence and with chastity you conduct yourselves.

1Peter 3:3 - Neither be adorned with outward adornings of the entwinement of your hair, or necklaces of gold, or of excelling vestments,

1Peter 3:4 - אֵלָא אֵצטַבַּתֵין בּבַרנָשָׁא כַּסיָא דּלֵבָּא בּרוּחָא מַכִּיכתָּא דּלָא מֵתחַבּלָא צֵבתָּא דַּמיַתַּר קדָם אַלָהָא .   
1Peter 3:4 - but adorn yourselves in the hidden man of the heart, with the spirit of gentleness which perisheth not, the ornament of excellence before Aloha.

1Peter 3:5 - For so also of old the holy women who confided in Aloha adorned themselves, and were subject to their husbands,

1Peter 3:6 - אַיכַּנָא דּסַרָא מֵשׁתַּעבּדָא הוָת לַאברָהָם וקָריָא הוָת לֵה מָרי הָי דּהָויָן אנתֵּין לָה בּנָתָא בַּעבָדֵא טָבֵא כַּד לָא מֵתּתּזִיעָן אנתֵּין מֵן כֻּל דֵּחלָא .   
1Peter 3:6 - even as Sara was subject to Abraham, and called him My Lord: of her be you the daughters in good works, not being perturbed by any fear.

1Peter 3:7 - וַאנתּוּן גַּברֵא הָכַנָא עמַרו עַם נֵשַׁיכּוּן בִּידַעתָא וַאיכ דַּלמָאנֵא מחִילֵא בּאִיקָרָא אַחוּדו אֵנֵין מֵטֻל דָּאפ הָנֵין עַמכוּן יָרתָּן מַוהַבתָּא דּחַיֵא דַּלעָלַם דּלָא תֵּהווּן מֵתּתַּקלִין בַּצלַוָתכוּן .    
1Peter 3:7 - AND you, men, dwell likewise with your wives with knowledge, and as feeble vessels in honour hold them; for they also with you inherit the gift of the life of eternity; that you be not hindered in your prayers.

1Peter 3:8 - שׁוּלָמָא דֵּין דּתֵהווּן כֻּלכוּן בַּאויוּתָא וַהוַיתּוּן חָשִׁין עַם אַילֵין דּחָשִׁין ורָחמִין חַד לחַד וַהוַיתּוּן רַחמתָנִין ומַכִּיכִין .    
1Peter 3:8 - But, finally be all unanimous, and suffer with those who suffer, and love one another, and be merciful and gentle;    
1Peter 3:8 - The summing up, is, that ye all be in harmony, that ye be sympathetic with them who suffer, and affectionate one to another, and be merciful and kind.

1Peter 3:9 - וַלאנָשׁ בִּישׁתָּא חלָפ בִּישׁתָּא לָא תֵּפרעוּן וָאפלָא צוּחִיתָא חלָפ צוּחִיתָא אֵלָא דַּלקוּבלָא דּהָלֵין הוַיתּוּן מבַרכִין להָדֵא גֵּיר אֵתקרִיתּוּן דּבוּרכּתָא תּאִרתּוּן .   
1Peter 3:9 - and let no man render evil for evil, nor invective for invective, but, that which is contrary to them, bless: for unto this are you called, that the blessing you may inherit.    
1Peter 3:9 - And that ye recompense to no one evil for evil, neither railing for railing; but, in contrariety to these, that ye bless: for to this were ye called, that ye might inherit a blessing.

1Peter 3:10 - מַן דּצָבֵא הָכִיל חַיֵא ורָחֵם יַומָתָא טָבֵא למֵחזָא נֵטַר לֵשָׁנֵה מֵן בִּישׁתָּא וסֵפוָתֵה לָא נמַללָן נֵכלָא .   
1Peter 3:10 - Who then willeth life, And loveth good days to see ? Let him keep his tongue from evil, And his lips that they speak not guile.    
1Peter 3:10 - Therefore, whoever chooseth life, and desireth to see good days, let him keep his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile;

1Peter 3:11 - נֵעבַּר מֵן בִּישׁתָּא ונֵעבֵּד טָבתָא ונֵבעֵא שׁלָמָא ונֵרהַט בָּתרֵה .   
1Peter 3:11 - Let him depart from evil and do good, And seek peace and run after it.    
1Peter 3:11 - let him turn away from evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and follow after it.

1Peter 3:12 - מֵטֻל דּעַינַוהי דּמָריָא עַל זַדִּיקֵא וֵאדנַוהי למֵשׁמַע אֵנוּן וַאפַּוהי דּמָריָא עַל בִּישֵׁא .   
1Peter 3:12 - For the eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, And his ears, to hear them; And the face of the Lord is against the wicked.    
1Peter 3:12 - Because the eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and his ears [ready] to hear them: but the face of the Lord is against the wicked.

1Peter 3:13 - ומַנוּ דּנֵעבֵּד לכוּן בִּישׁתָּא אֵן תֵּהווּן טַנָנֵא דּטָבָתָא .    
1Peter 3:13 - And who (is he) who will do you evil if you be emulous of good [Plural.] (actions) ?    
1Peter 3:13 - And who will do you harm, if ye are zealous of good works?   
1Peter 3:13 - And who is he that can harm you if you are zealous followers of that which is good?   
1Peter 3:13 - וּמִי יָרֵעַ לָכֶם אִם־תְּקַנְאוּ לַעֲשׂוֹת הַטּוֹב׃    
1Peter 3:14 - וֵאן הוּ דּתֵחשׁוּן עַל אַפַּי כּאִנוּתָא טוּבַיכּוּן ולָא תֵּדחלוּן מֵן אַילֵין דַּמדַחלִין לכוּן ולָא תֵּשׁתַּגשׁוּן .   
1Peter 3:14 - And (yet) if you suffer for the sake of righteousness, you are happy. And you will not fear them who would make you afraid, nor be shaken.    
1Peter 3:14 - But if it should occur, that ye suffer on account of righteousness, happy are ye. And be not terrified, by those who would terrify you, nor be agitated:

1Peter 3:15 - אֵלָא קַדֵּשׁו בּלֵבַּוָתכוּן למָריָא משִׁיחָא וַהוַיתּוּן מטַיבִין למַפַּק בּרוּחָא לכֻל דּתָבַע לכוּן מֵלתָא עַל סַברָא דּהַימָנוּתכוּן בּמַכִּיכוּתָא וַבדֵחלתָא .   
1Peter 3:15 - But sanctify in your hearts the Lord Meshiha. AND be prepared to make defence to every one who shall seek of you speech concerning the hope of the faith, with meekness and with seriousness, while you have a good conscience;    
1Peter 3:15 - but sanctify the Lord the Messiah, in your hearts. And be ye ready for a vindication, before every one who demandeth of you an account of the hope of your faith,

1Peter 3:16 - כַּד אִית לכוּן תּאִרתָּא טָבתָא אַיכַּנָא דּהָנוּן דַּממַללִין עלַיכּוּן אַיכ דּעַל אנָשָׁא בִּישֵׁא נֵבהתוּן אַיכ אנָשָׁא דּטָלמִין לדוּבָּרַיכּוּן שַׁפִּירֵא דּבַמשִׁיחָא .   
1Peter 3:16 - that as they speak against you as against evil men, they may be made ashamed who have traduced your good conversations in the Meshiha.    
1Peter 3:16 - in meekness and respect, as having a good conscience; so that they who speak against you as bad men, may be ashamed, for having calumniated your good conduct in the Messiah.   
1Peter 3:16 - Having a good conscience; so that they who speak evil of you, as of evil doers, may be ashamed as men who belittle your good works in Christ.   
1Peter 3:16 - רוּחַ נָכוֹן יְהִי לָכֶם לְמַעַן יֵבֹשׁוּ הַמְנַאֲצִים דַּרְכְּכֶם הַטּוֹבָה בַמָּשִׁיחַ לְהַלְשִׁין אֶתְכֶם כְּפֹעֲלֵי אָוֶן׃    
1Peter 3:17 - עָדרָא הי לכוּן גֵּיר דּכַד עָבדִּין אנתּוּן עבָדֵא טָבֵא תֵּסבּלוּן בִּישָׁתָא אֵן הָכַנָא הו צֵביָנָא דַּאלָהָא ולָא כַּד עָבדִּין אנתּוּן בִּישָׁתָא .   
1Peter 3:17 - For it helpeth you (if) while doing goodly works you have to sustain evil, if so it be the will of Aloha, and not while working evils.    
1Peter 3:17 - For it is profitable to you, that ye suffer evil while ye do good deeds, if this should be the pleasure of God; and not, while ye do evil deeds.   
1Peter 3:17 - For it is better, if it is the will of God, that you suffer for good deeds, rather than for evil doing.

1Peter 3:18 - מֵטֻל דָּאפ משִׁיחָא חדָא זבַן מִית חלָפ חטָהַין זַדִּיקָא חלָפ חַטָיֵא דַּנקַרֵבכוּן לַאלָהָא ומִית בַּפגַר וַחיָא בּרוּח .   
1Peter 3:18 - Because the Meshiha also once died on account of sins, the just on account of sinners, that he might bring [Or, present.] us unto Aloha. And dead in the body and alive in the Spirit,    
1Peter 3:18 - For the Messiah also once died for our sins, the righteous for sinners; that he might bring you to God. And he died in body, but lived in spirit.   
1Peter 3:18 - For Christ also once suffered for our sins, a just man for sinners, that he might bring you to God, wherefore while he died in the flesh, he lives in the Spirit.   
1Peter 3:18 - כִּי גַם־הַמָּשִׁיחַ מֵת פַּעַם אַחַת עַל־חַטֹּאתֵינוּ הַצַּדִּיק בְּעַד הָרְשָׁעִים לְקָרֵב אֹתָנוּ אֶל־הָאֱלֹהִים הוּמַת בַּבָּשָׂר וַיְחִי בָרוּחַ׃   
1Peter 3:19 - וַאכרֵז לנַפשָׁתָא אַילֵין דַּאחִידָן הוַי בַּשׁיוּל .    
1Peter 3:19 - he preached unto those souls who were held in sheul,    
1Peter 3:19 - And he preached to those souls, which were detained in Hades,   
1Peter 3:19 - And he preached to the souls imprisoned in Sheol;   
1Peter 3:19 - וּבְכֵן הָלַךְ וַיִּקְרָא לָרוּחוֹת אֲשֶׁר בַּמִּשְׁמָר׃    
1Peter 3:20 - הָלֵין דּמֵן קדִים לָא אֵתּטפִּיס הוַי בּיַומָתֵה דּנוּח כַּד מַגּרַת רוּחֵה דַּאלָהָא פֵּקדַּת דּתֵהוֵא קִבוּתָא עַל סַברָא דַּתיָבוּתהוּן וַתמָנֵא בַּלחוּד נַפשָׁן עַלֵין לָה וַחיַי בּמַיָא .   
1Peter 3:20 - those who before were disobedient in the days of Nuch;[Or, Nooch.] while the long-suffering of Aloha commanded that he should make the ark, upon the hope of their conversion, and eight souls only entered therein, and were saved in the waters.    
1Peter 3:20 - which were formerly disobedient, in the days of Noah, when the long suffering of God commanded an ark to be made, in hope of their repentance; and eight souls only entered into it, and were kept alive in the waters.   
1Peter 3:20 - Those who in the past were disobedient; and in the days of Noah, when the Spirit of God had patience, he commanded an ark to be made in the hope of their repentance, but only eight souls entered into it, and were saved by it floating upon the water.   
1Peter 3:20 - אֲשֶׁר לְפָנִים לֹא הֶאֱמִינוּ כַּאֲשֶׁר חִכָּה אֱלֹהִים בְּאֹרֶךְ אַפּוֹ בִּימֵי נֹחַ בְּהֵעָשׂוֹת הַתֵּבָה אֲשֶׁר נִמְלְטוּ אֵלֶיהָ מְעַטִּים וְהֵם שְׁמֹנֶה נְפָשׁוֹת מִן־הַמָּיִם׃   
1Peter 3:21 - דָּאפ אַנתּוּן בֵּה בּהַו טוּפסָא חָיֵין אנתּוּן בּמַעמוּדִיתָא לַו כַּד פַּגרָא משִׁיגִין אנתּוּן מֵן צָאתָא אֵלָא כַּד מַודֵּין אנתּוּן בַּאלָהָא בּתאִרתָּא דּכִיתָא ובַקיָמתֵּה דּיֵשׁוּע משִׁיחָא .   
1Peter 3:21 - After which very type also you are saved in baptism,[B'mahmuditho.] not while you cleanse the body from filth, but while you make confession of 6 Aloha with a pure conscience, and of [Or, in.] the resurrection of Jeshu Meshiha;    
1Peter 3:21 - And ye also, by a like figure, are made alive by baptism, (not when ye wash your bodies from filth, but when ye confess God with a pure conscience,) and by the resurrection of Jesus the Messiah;    
1Peter 3:21 - You also are saved in that very manner by baptism, not merely by washing the filth from the body, but by confessing God with a clean conscience, and by the resurrection of Jesus Christ,

1Peter 4:1 - אֵן משִׁיחָא הָכִיל חַשׁ חלָפַיכּוּן בַּבסַר וָאפ אַנתּוּן בֵּה בּהָנָא רֵעיָנָא אֵזדַּיַנו כֻּלמַן דּמָאֵת גֵּיר בּפַגרֵה שׁלִי לֵה מֵן כֻּלהוּן חטָהֵא .   
1Peter 4:1 - If then the Meshiha hath suffered for you in the flesh, be you also armed in it with the same mind; for every one who dieth in his body hath ceased from all sins,

1Peter 4:2 - דּלָא מֵכִּיל לַרגִיגָתָא דַּבנַינָשָׁא נִחֵא כּמָא זַבנָא דּאִיתַוהי בּפַגרָא אֵלָא לצֵביָנָא דַּאלָהָא .   
1Peter 4:2 - that henceforth to the lusts of men he should not live, what time he is in the body, but to the will of Aloha.    
1Peter 4:2 - that he may no longer be alive to the lusts of men, while he is in the body, but [only] to do the pleasure of God.

1Peter 4:3 - סָפֵק גֵּיר זַבנָא הַו דַּעבַר דַּפלַחתּוּן בֵּה צֵביָנָא דּחַנפֵא בָּאסוּטוּתָא וַברַוָיוּתָא וַבצַחנוּתָא ובַזמָרָא וַבפוּלחָנָא דּשׁאִדֵא .    
1Peter 4:3 - For the time which hath passed sufficeth to have served the will of the Gentiles in indulgence, in drunkenness, in vileness, in revellings, and in the service of demons.    
1Peter 4:3 - For the time that is past was enough, when ye wrought the pleasure of the profane, in dissoluteness, and in ebriety, and in lasciviousness, and in revelling, and in the worship of demons.

1Peter 4:4 - והָא הָשָׁא מֵתּדַּמרִין וַמגַדּפִין עלַיכּוּן בַּדלָא מֵשׁתַּרחִיתּוּן עַמהוּן בּהָי אָסוּטוּתָא קַדמָיתָּא .   
1Peter 4:4 - And, behold, now they wonder and blaspheme at you because you riot not with them in that former indulgence;    
1Peter 4:4 - And lo, they now wonder, and reproach you, because ye revel not with them in the same former dissoluteness;    
1Peter 4:4 - And behold, they think it strange that you do not indulge with them in the past excesses, and they blaspheme against you.   
1Peter 4:4 - וְעַל־זֹאת תְּמֵהִים הֵמָּה וּמְגַדְּפִים כִּי לֹא־תָרוּצוּ עִמָּהֶם לִהְיוֹת שְׁטוּפִים בְּזִמָּה כְּמוֹהֶם׃   
1Peter 4:5 - הָנוּן דּיָהבִּין פֵּתגָמָא לַאלָהָא הַו דַּעתִיד לַמדָן מִיתֵא וחַיֵא .   
1Peter 4:5 - they who shall give account to Aloha, who will judge the dead and the living.

1Peter 4:6 - מֵטֻל הָנָא גֵּיר אֵסתַּבַּר אָפ למִיתֵא דּנֵתּדִינוּן אַיכ בּנַינָשָׁא בַּבסַר ונִחוּן בַּאלָהָא בּרוּח .   
1Peter 4:6 - For on this account the dead also have been evangelized; that they might be judged as men in the flesh, and live with Aloha in the Spirit.

1Peter 4:7 - מַטיַת לָה דֵּין חַרתָא דּכֻל מֵטֻל הָנָא אֵתנַכַּפו וֵאתּתּעִירו לַצלוּתָא .   
1Peter 4:7 - BUT the end of all cometh; therefore be sober, and watch unto prayer.

1Peter 4:8 - And before every thing have ardent love for one another; for love covereth a multitude of sins.

1Peter 4:10 - וכֻלנָשׁ מֵנכוּן מַוהַבתָּא דּקַבֵּל מֵן אַלָהָא נשַׁמֵשׁ בָּה לחַברַוהי אַיכ רַבַּי בָּתֵּא טָבֵא דּטַיבּוּתָא מפַרַשׁתָּא דַּאלָהָא .    
1Peter 4:10 - And every man of you the gift which he hath received from Aloha, let him minister thereof unto his neighbours as good stewards of the various grace of Aloha.    
1Peter 4:10 - And let each of you minister to his associates the gift which he hath received from God; as being good stewards of the manifold grace of God.

1Peter 4:11 - כֻּלמַן דַּממַלֵל אַיכ מֵלתָא דַּאלָהָא נמַלֵל וכֻלמַן דַּמשַׁמֵשׁ אַיכ דּמֵן חַילָא הַו דַּאלָהָא יָהֵב לֵה דַּבכֻל דּעָבדִּין אנתּוּן נֵשׁתַּבַּח אַלָהָא בּיַד יֵשׁוּע משִׁיחָא הַו דּדִילֵה הִי תֵּשׁבּוּחתָּא ואִיקָרָא לעָלַם עָלמִין אַמִין .   
1Peter 4:11 - Whoever shall speak, as the word of Aloha let him speak and whoever ministereth, (he shall minister) as from the power which Aloha giveth to him, that in every thing which you do Aloha may be glorified through Jeshu Meshiha, whose are the glory and honour to the age of ages. Amen.

1Peter 4:12 - חַבִּיבַי לָא תֵּתּדַּמרוּן בּנֵסיוּנֵא דּהָוֵין לכוּן אַיכ דּמֵדֵּם נוּכרָי גָּדֵשׁ לכוּן מֵטֻל דַּלבוּחרָנכוּן הוּ הָוֵין .   
1Peter 4:12 - My beloved, be not amazed at the temptations which you have, as that something strange happeneth to you, because for your probation they have been;

1Peter 4:13 - אֵלָא חדַו דּמֵשׁתַּותּפִין אנתּוּן לחַשַׁוהי דַּמשִׁיחָא דּהָכַנָא אָפ בּגֵליָנָא דּתֵשׁבּוּחתֵּה תֵּחדּוּן ותֵרוזוּן .   
1Peter 4:13 - but rejoice that you are partakers of the sufferings of the Meshiha, that so also at the revelation of his glory you may rejoice and exult.

1Peter 4:14 - And if you be reviled for the sake of the name of the Meshiha, you are happy; for the Spirit of the glory of Aloha resteth upon you.    
1Peter 4:14 - And if ye are reproached on account of the name of the Messiah, happy are ye: for the glorious Spirit of God resteth upon you.

1Peter 4:15 - בַּלחוּד לָא אנָשׁ מֵנכוּן אַיכ קָטוּלָא אַו אַיכ גַּנָבָא אַו אַיכ עָבֵד בִּישָׁתָא נֵהוֵא חָאֵשׁ .   
1Peter 4:15 - Only, let no man of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as a doer of evils.

1Peter 4:16 - But if he suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify Aloha in that very name.

1Peter 4:17 - For the time is, that judgment shall begin from the house of Aloha. But if from us it begin, what is the end (to be) of them who obey not the gospel of Aloha ?    
1Peter 4:17 - For it is the time when judgment will commence with the house of God: and if it commence with us, what will be the end of those who obey not the gospel of God ?

1Peter 4:18 - וֵאן זַדִּיקָא למַחסֵן חָיֵא רַשִׁיעָא וחַטָיָא אַיכָּא מֵשׁתּכַח .    
1Peter 4:18 - And if the righteous scarcely be saved, the wicked and the sinner where shall he be found ?    
1Peter 4:18 - And if the righteous scarcely liveth, where will the ungodly and the sinner be found!

1Peter 4:19 - מֵטֻל הָנָא אַילֵין דּחָשִׁין אַיכ צֵביָנֵה דַּאלָהָא נַגעלוּן לֵה נַפשָׁתהוּן בַּעבָדֵא שַׁפִּירֵא אַיכ דַּלבָרוּיָא מהַימנָא .   
1Peter 4:19 - Wherefore, let them who suffer according to the will of Aloha commend to him their souls in good works, as unto the Faithful Creator.

1Peter 5:1 - בָּעֵא אנָא דֵּין מֵן קַשִׁישֵׁא דּאִית בּכוּן אֵנָא קַשִׁישָׁא חַברכוּן וסָהדָּא דּחַשַׁוהי דַּמשִׁיחָא ושַׁותָּפָא דּשׁוּבחֵה הַו דַּעתִיד דּנֵתגּלֵא .   
1Peter 5:1 - BUT I entreat of the presbyters who are among you, I, a presbyter, your companion, and a witness of the sufferings of the Meshiha, and a partaker of his glory that is to be revealed;    
1Peter 5:1 - And I, an Elder, your associate, and a witness of the sufferings of the Messiah, and a participator in his glory which is to be revealed, entreat the Elders who are among you:

1Peter 5:1 - אֶת־הַזְּקֵנִים אֲשֶׁר בְּקִרְבְּכֶם אַזְהִיר אֲנִי הַזָּקֵן עֲמִיתָם וְעֵד עִנּוּיֵי הַמָּשִׁיחַ וְגַם־חָבֵר לַכָּבוֹד הֶעָתִיד לְהִגָּלוֹת׃    
1Peter 5:2 - רעַו מַרעִיתָא דַּאלָהָא דּמַשׁלמָא לכוּן וַסעוּרו רוּחָנָאיִת לָא בַּקטִירָא אֵלָא בּצֵביָנָא לָא בּיוּתרָנֵא טַנפֵּא אֵלָא מֵן כֻּלֵה לֵבּכוּן .    
1Peter 5:2 - feed the flock of Aloha which is delivered to you, and take care (of it) spiritually,[Vasuru ruchonoith.] not by constraint, but with the will; not for corrupt gain, but with all your heart;    
1Peter 5:2 - Feed ye the flock of God which is committed to you: have care [for it], spiritually; not from compulsion, but voluntarily; not for base gain, but with all your heart;

1Peter 5:2 - רְעוּ אֶת־עֵדֶר הָאֱלֹהִים אֲשֶׁר תַּחַת יֶדְכֶם וְהַשְׁגִּיחוּ עֲלֵיהֶם לֹא בְאֹנֶס כִּי אִם־בִּנְדָבָה (כִּרְצוֹן אֱלֹהִים) וְלֹא עֵקֶב בֶּצַע רָע כִּי אִם־בְּנֶפֶשׁ חֲפֵצָה׃   
1Peter 5:3 - לָא אַיכ מָרַיָא דּמַרעִיתָא אֵלָא אַיכ דּתֵהווּן להוּן דּמוּתָא שַׁפִּירתָּא .   
1Peter 5:3 - not as lords of the flock, but that you may be to them a goodly example;

1Peter 5:4 - דּכַד נֵתגּלֵא רַבּ רָעַוָתָא תּקַבּלוּן מֵנֵה כּלִילָא דּשׁוּבחָא דּלָא חָמֵא .   
1Peter 5:4 - that when the Chief of pastors [Rab Roauth.]shall be revealed, you may receive from him a crown of glory which fadeth not.    
1Peter 5:4 - that when the chief shepherd shall be revealed, ye may receive from him a crown of glory that fadeth not.    
1Peter 5:4 - And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, you shall receive a crown of glory that will not fade away.

1Peter 5:5 - וַאנתּוּן עלַימֵא אֵשׁתַּעבַּדו לקַשִׁישַׁיכּוּן וֵאתעַטפו חִיצָאיִת מַכִּיכוּת רֵעיָנָא לוָת חדָדֵא מֵטֻל דַּאלָהָא סַקוּבלָא הו דַּאילֵין דּמֵתּתּרִימִין וַלמַכִּיכֵא יָהֵב טַיבּוּתָא .   
1Peter 5:5 - And you younger, be subject to your presbyters, and be clothed carefully [Or, closely.] with humility of mind towards one another; because Aloha is against those who exalt themselves, and to the humble he giveth grace.    
1Peter 5:5 - And ye juniors submit yourselves to your seniors; and clothe yourselves, stringently, with lowliness of mind one towards another; because God resisteth them who exalt themselves, and giveth grace to the humble.

1Peter 5:6 - אֵתמַכַּכו הָכִיל תּחֵית אִידֵה תַּקִיפתָּא דַּאלָהָא דּהִי תּרִימכוּן בּזַבנָא דּזָדֵק .   
1Peter 5:6 - Be humbled, therefore, under the mighty hand of Aloha, that he may exalt you at the right time.

1Peter 5:8 - אֵתּתּעִירו וֵעהַדו מֵטֻל דַּבעֵלדּבָבכוּן סָטָנָא אַיכ אַריָא נָהֵם וַמהַלֵכ ובָעֵא דַּלמַנוּ נֵבלַע .   
1Peter 5:8 - Watch, and be mindful, because your adversary Satana, as a lion, roareth and walketh and seeketh whom he may devour.

1Peter 5:9 - קוּמו הָכִיל לקוּבלֵה כַּד משַׁררִין אנתּוּן בּהַימָנוּתָא ודַעו דָּאפ עַל אַחַיכּוּן דַּבעָלמָא הֵנוּן הָלֵין חַשֵׁא עָרצִין .   
1Peter 5:9 - Withstand him then, being confirmed in the faith; and know that upon your brethren also who are in the world, these same sufferings come.

1Peter 5:10 - אַלָהָא דֵּין דּטַיבּוּתָא הַו דַּקרָן לשׁוּבחֵה דַּלעָלַם בּיַד יֵשׁוּע משִׁיחָא הַו דּיַהב לַן דּכַד נסַיבַּר הָלֵין אוּלצָנֵא זעוּרֵא דּנֵתחַיַל ונֵשׁתַּרַר ונֵתקַיַם בֵּה לעָלַם .   
1Peter 5:10 - But the God of grace, who hath called us to his eternal glory by Jeshu Meshiha, will give to us while we endure these few afflictions to be strengthened, and confirmed, and established in him for ever.

1Peter 5:11 - דּלֵה שׁוּבחָא וּאוחדָּנָא ואִיקָרָא לעָלַם עָלמִין אַמִין .

1Peter 5:12 - These few, as I consider, I have written to you by the hands of Silvanos, a faithful brother; and I persuade and testify, that this is the true grace of Aloha, this wherein you stand.    
1Peter 5:12 - These as I account [them] few [things], I have written to you by Sylvanus, a faithful brother. And I would persuade, and would testify, that this is the true grace of God, this in which ye stand.

1Peter 5:13 - שָׁאלָא שׁלָמכוּן עִדּתָּא גּבִיתָא דַּבבָבֵל ומַרקָוס בֵּרי .    
1Peter 5:13 - The elect church which is in Babel, asketh for your peace, and Markos my son.

2Peter 1:1 - SHEMUN PETROS, a servant of Jeshu Meshiha, to those who by faith the same in preciousness [Or, honour.] with us have been made equal, through the righteousness of our Lord and our Redeemer Jeshu Meshiha.

2Peter 1:2 - Grace and peace be multiplied to you through the knowledge of our Lord Jeshu Meshiha.

2Peter 1:3 - As He who all (things) which of the divine power are unto life and godliness [Dechalath Aloha, the fear, reverence, or worship of Aloha.] hath given (us), through the knowledge of Him who hath called us unto the glory of him and of virtue,[Or, excellence. B'teshbuchtho dileh va-damyathrutho.]   
2Peter 1:3 - as the giver to us of all things that be of the power of God, unto life and the fear of God, through the recognition of him who hath called us unto his own glory and moral excellence:

2Peter 1:4 - דּבאִידַיהֵין שׁוּודָּיֵא רַורבֵא ויַקִירֵא לכוּן יַהב דַּביַד הָלֵין תֵּהווּן שַׁותָּפֵא דַּכיָנָא אַלָהָיָא כַּד עָרקִין אנתּוּן מֵן חבָלָא דַּרגִיגָתָא דַּבעָלמָא .   
2Peter 1:4 - by annunciations [Nunciatio, promissum: from, to know, make known.] great and precious which he hath given to you, that by them you may be partakers of the divine nature, while you escape the corruption of the lusts which are in the world;    
2Peter 1:4 - wherein he hath given you very great and precious promises; that by them ye might become partakers of the nature of God, while ye flee from the corruptions of the lusts that are in the world.    
2Peter 1:4 - Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these you might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

2Peter 1:5 - והִי דֵּין הָדֵא כַּד שׁקָלטַענָא כֻּלֵה מַעלִין אנתּוּן אַוסֵפו עַל הַימָנוּתכוּן מיַתּרוּתָא עַל דֵּין מיַתּרוּתָא יִדַעתָא .   
2Peter 1:5 - So, with this, bringing in all diligence,[Or, gravity. Shekoltano.] add to your faith virtue; but to virtue knowledge,    
2Peter 1:5 - And, while ye apply all diligence in the matter, add to your faith moral excellence; and to moral excellence, knowledge;

2Peter 1:5 - בַּעֲבוּר זֹאת שִׁקְדוּ לְהוֹסִיף עַל־אֱמוּנַתְכֶם אֶת־מַעֲשֵׂה הַצְּדָקָה וְעַל מַעֲשֵׂה הַצְּדָקָה אֶת־הַדָּעַת׃   
2Peter 1:6 - עַל דֵּין יִדַעתָא מחַמסנָנוּתָא עַל דֵּין מחַמסנָנוּתָא מסַיבּרָנוּתָא עַל דֵּין מסַיבּרָנוּתָא דֵּחלַת אַלָהָא .   
2Peter 1:6 - but to knowledge perseverance, but to perseverance patience, but to patience godliness,[Dechalath Aloha, the fear, reverence, or worship of Aloha.]

2Peter 1:8 - For while these are found with you, and abound, neither slothfulness nor unfruitfulness will stand against you in the knowledge of our Lord Jeshu Meshiha.    
2Peter 1:8 - For, while these are found in you, and abounding, they render you not slothful, and not unfruitful, in the recognition of our Lord Jesus the Messiah.   
2Peter 1:8 - For when these things are found among you and abound, you are not empty nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our LORD Jesus Christ.

2Peter 1:9 - הַו גֵּיר דּלָא שׁכִיחָן לֵה הָלֵין סַמיָא אִיתַוהי דּלָא חָזֵא דַּטעָא דּוּכָּיָא דַּחטָהַוהי קַדמָיֵא .   
2Peter 1:9 - For he with whom these are not found is blind, and seeth not, and hath forgotten the purification of his former sins.

2Peter 1:10 - ועַל הָי יַתִּירָאיִת אַחַי יִצַפו דַּביַד עבָדַיכּוּן טָבֵא קרָיתּכוּן וַגבִיתכוּן משַׁרַרתָּא תֵּעבּדוּן כַּד גֵּיר הָלֵין עָבדִּין אנתּוּן לָא מתוּם מֵשׁתַּרעִין אנתּוּן .   
2Peter 1:10 - Upon this the more, my brethren, be careful, that by your good works your calling and your election you may confirm;[Or, make sure.] for, while you do these, you will never lapse;[Meshtarin, from shara, lapsus est, deliquit, transgressus est.]   
2Peter 1:10 - And therefore, my brethren, be ye exceedingly diligent to make your calling and election sure, by your good actions: for, by so doing, ye will never fall away.

2Peter 1:11 - הָכַנָא גֵּיר עַתִּירָאיִת מֵתיַהבָא לכוּן מַעַלתָּא דּמַלכּוּתָא דַּלעָלַם דּמָרַן ופָרוּקַן יֵשׁוּע משִׁיחָא .   
2Peter 1:11 - for so abundantly shall be given to you the entrance of the eternal kingdom of our Lord and our Saviour Jeshu Meshiha.    
2Peter 1:11 - For thus will entrance be given you abundantly, into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Redeemer Jesus the Messiah.   
2Peter 1:11 - For by so doing, an entrance shall be given freely to you into the everlasting kingdom of our LORD and Saviour Jesus Christ.   
2Peter 1:11 - כִּי־כֵן יִפָּתַח לִפְנֵיכֶם לָרְוָחָה מְבוֹא מַלְכוּת עוֹלָם אֲשֶׁר לַאֲדֹנֵינוּ וּמוֹשִׁיעֵנוּ יֵשׁוּעַ הַמָּשִׁיחַ׃   
2Peter 1:12 - ועַל הָדֵא לָא מַמֵאן אנָא מֵן דּמַעהֵד אנָא לכוּן אַמִינָאיִת עַל הָלֵין כַּד טָב אָפ יָדעִין אנתּוּן וַסמִיכִין אנתּוּן עַל שׁרָרָא הָנָא .    
2Peter 1:12 - Wherefore it doth not weary me to remind you constantly of these, that you may know well, and be established upon this truth.    
2Peter 1:12 - And for this reason I am not wearied in reminding you continually of these things; although ye know them well, and are established in this truth.

2Peter 1:13 - דּכאִנָא דֵּין אֵסתַּברַת לִי דַּכמָא דּאִיתַי בּפַגרָא הָנָא אַעִירכוּן בּעוּהדָּנָא .   
2Peter 1:13 - But I consider it right, so long as I am in this body,[Bephagro hono.] to stir you up in remembrance:    
2Peter 1:13 - And it seemeth right to me, so long as I am in this body, to excite you by monition;   
2Peter 1:13 - Therefore I think it is right, as long as I am in this body, to stir you up by putting you in remembrance;    
2Peter 1:13 - וְנָכוֹן בְּעֵינַי לְהַזְכִּיר וּלְהָעִיר אֶתְכֶם כָּל־יְמֵי הֱיוֹתִי בַּמִּשְׁכָּן הַזֶּה׃   
2Peter 1:14 - כַּד יָדַע אנָא דּעוּנדָּנָא דּפַגרי בַּעגַל הָוֵא אַיכַּנָא דָּאפ מָרַן יֵשׁוּע משִׁיחָא אַודּעַני .   
2Peter 1:14 - knowing that the decease of my body is shortly (to be,) as also our Lord Jeshu Meshiha hath made me know.    
2Peter 1:14 - since I know, that the demise of my body is speedy, as also my Lord Jesus the Messiah hath showed me.   
2Peter 1:14 - Knowing that shortly I must depart this life, even as our LORD Jesus Christ has shown me.   
2Peter 1:14 - מִדַּעְתִּי כִּי מַהֵר יֶעְתַּק מִשְׁכָּנִי וְכֵן גִּלָּה־לִי אֲדֹנֵינוּ יֵשׁוּעַ הַמָּשִׁיחַ׃   
2Peter 1:15 - יָצֵפ אנָא דֵּין דָּאפ אַמִינָאיִת הוָא אִית לכוּן דָּאפ מֵן בָּתַר מַפּקָנָא דִּילי עוּהדָּנָא דּהָלֵין תֵּהווּן עָבדִּין .   
2Peter 1:15 - But be careful also that (these) you may continually have; that also after my going forth the memorial of them you may observe.    
2Peter 1:15 - And I am anxious, that, after my departure, ye too may have it always with you to make mention of these things.

2Peter 1:16 - לָא הוָא גֵּיר כַּד בָּתַר מַתלֵא דַּעבִידִין בֻּאומָנוּתָא אָזִלינַן אַודַּענָכוּן חַילֵה ומֵאתִיתֵה דּמָרַן יֵשׁוּע משִׁיחָא אֵלָא כַּד חַזָיֵא הוַין דּרַבּוּתָא דִּילֵה .   
2Peter 1:16 - For it is not after fables which are made with art that we have gone, in making known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jeshu Meshiha, but as we were spectators of his majesty.    
2Peter 1:16 - For we have not gone after fables artfully framed, in making known to you the power and advent of our Lord Jesus the Messiah; but [it was] after we had been spectators of his majesty.    
2Peter 1:16 - For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known to you the power and coming of our LORD Jesus Christ, for we were eye-witnesses of his majesty.   
2Peter 1:16 - כִּי לֹא הָלַכְנוּ אַחֲרֵי הַגָּדוֹת מְחֻכָּמוֹת בְּהוֹדִיעֵנוּ אֶתְכֶם גְּבוּרַת אֲדֹנֵינוּ יֵשׁוּעַ הַמָּשִׁיחַ וּבֹאוֹ כִּי עֵינֵינוּ הָיוּ הָרֹאוֹת אֶת־גְּדֻלָּתוֹ׃   
2Peter 1:17 - כַּד גֵּיר נסַב מֵן אַלָהָא אַבָא אִיקָרָא ותֵשׁבּוּחתָּא כַּד קָלָא אֵתָא לֵה דַּאיכ הָנָא מֵן תֵּשׁבּוּחתָּא פַּאיַת בּרַבּוּתָה דּהָנַו בֵּרי הַו חַבִּיבָא הַו דּבֵה אֵצטבִית .   
2Peter 1:17 - For when he received from Aloha the Father honour and glory, while a voice came to him as this, after the glorious beauty of his majesty, This is my Son, the Beloved, in whom I have delighted;

2Peter 1:17 - כִּי נָשָׂא יְקָר וְכָבוֹד מֵאֵת אֱלֹהִים הָאָב כְּבֹא אֵלָיו קוֹל מִלִּפְנֵי הַדְרַת כְּבוֹדוֹ לֵאמֹר זֶה בְּנִי יְדִידִי רָצְתָה נַפְשִׁי בּוֹ׃    
2Peter 1:18 - אָפ חנַן לֵה להָנָא קָלָא שׁמַענַן מֵן שׁמַיָא דֵּאתָא לֵה כַּד אִיתַין הוַין עַמֵה בּטוּרָא קַדִּישָׁא .   
2Peter 1:18 - we also this voice heard from heaven, as it came to him when we were with him in the holy mount.

2Peter 1:19 - ואִית לַן דּשַׁרִירָא אָפ מֵלתָא דַּנבִיוּתָא הָי דּשַׁפִּיר עָבדִּין אנתּוּן כַּד בָּה חָירִין אנתּוּן אַיכ דּבַשׁרָגָא דּמַנהַר בַּאתרָא עַמוּטָא עדַמָא דּאִימָמָא נַנהַר ושֵׁמשָׁא נֵדנַח בּלֵבַּוָתכוּן .   
2Peter 1:19 - We have that which is sure also, the word of prophecy; that into which you do well to look, as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the sun arise in your hearts.    
2Peter 1:19 - And we have moreover a sure word of prophecy; and ye will do well, if ye look to it as to a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day shall dawn, and the sun shall arise in your hearts;

2Peter 1:19 - וּדְבַר הַנְּבוּאָה יוֹתֵר קַיָּם אִתָּנוּ וַהֲטִיבֹתֶם עֲשׂוֹת אֲשֶׁר שַׁתֶּם לִבְּכֶם אֵלָיו כְּנֵר מֵאִיר בִּמְקוֹם אֹפֶל עַד־כִּי יִבָּקַע אוֹר הַיּוֹם וְזָרַח כּוֹכַב הַנֹּגַהּ בִּלְבַבְכֶם׃   
2Peter 1:20 - כַּד הָדֵא לוּקדַם יָדעִין אנתּוּן דּכֻל נבִיוּתָא שׁרָיָא דַּכתָבָא דִּילָה לָא הָויָא .   
2Peter 1:20 - While this first you know, that every prophecy of the scripture its own solution [Or, every prophecy the solution of its scripture is not. Cul nebiutho shorio dacthobo diloh lo hovo.] is not.    
2Peter 1:20 - ye having the previous knowledge, that no prophecy is an exposition of its own text.   
2Peter 1:20 - Knowing this first, that not every prophetic writing is made clear in its own book.   
2Peter 1:20 - וְזֹאת תֵּדְעוּ רִאשׁוֹנָה אֲשֶׁר כָּל־נְבוּאַת הַמִּקְרָא אֵינֶנָּה כְּפִי פִתְרוֹן אָדָם מִלִּבּוֹ׃   
2Peter 1:21 - לָא הוָא גֵּיר בּצֵביָנָא דּבַרנָשָׁא אֵתָת מֵן מתוּם נבִיוּתָא אֵלָא כַּד מֵן רוּחָא קַדִּישָׁא מֵתנַגדִּין מַלֵלו קַדִּישֵׁא בּנַינָשָׁא דַּאלָהָא .    
2Peter 1:21 - For not by the will of man came any prophecy, but while by the Holy Spirit led spake the holy men of God.    
2Peter 1:21 - For at no time was it by the pleasure of man, that the prophecy came; but holy men of God spoke, as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.   
2Peter 1:21 - For the prophecy did not come by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke when they were inspired by the Holy Spirit.   
2Peter 1:21 - כִּי מֵעוֹלָם לֹא־יָצְאָה נְבוּאָה בִּרְצוֹן הָאָדָם כִּי אַנְשֵׁי אֱלֹהִים הַקְּדוֹשִׁים דִּבְּרוּ כַּאֲשֶׁר נְשָׂאָם רוּחַ הַקֹּדֶשׁ׃    
2Peter 2:1 - הוַו דֵּין אָפ נבִיֵא דַּגָּלֵא בּעַמָא אַיכ דָּאפ בּכוּן נֵהווּן מַלפָנֵא דַּגָּלֵא אַילֵין דּמַעלִין הֵרֵסִיס דַּאבדָּנָא וַבמָרָא דַּזבַן אֵנוּן כָּפרִין כַּד מַיתֵּין עַל נַפשׁהוּן אַבדָּנָא מסַרהבָא .    
2Peter 2:1 - BUT there were false prophets in the world, as also among you there will be false teachers, they who introduce heresies of destruction,[Abadono.] and, the Lord who bought them denying, bring upon themselves swift destruction.[Abadono.]   
2Peter 2:1 - But in the world, there have been also false prophets, as there will likewise be false teachers among you, who will bring in destructive heresies, denying the Lord that bought them; thus bringing on themselves swift destruction.   
2Peter 2:1 - BUT there were false prophets also among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the LORD who has redeemed them, and thus bringing upon themselves swift destruction.   
2Peter 2:1 - וְגַם־נְבִיאֵי שֶׁקֶר הָיוּ בָעָם כַּאֲשֶׁר יִהְיוּ מוֹרֵי שֶׁקֶר גַּם־בָּכֶם אֲשֶׁר יַכְנִיסוּ כִּתּוֹת מַשְׁחִיתוֹת וִיכַחֲשׁוּ בַּמֹּשֵׁל אֲשֶׁר קָנָם וְיָבִיאוּ עַל־נַפְשָׁם כִּלָּיוֹן פִּתְאֹם׃    
2Peter 2:2 - וסַגִּיֵאא נאִזֻלון בָּתַר טַנפוּתָא דִּילהוּן הָלֵין דּמֵטֻלָתהוּן אוּרחָא דַּשׁרָרָא תֵּתגַּדַּפ .   
2Peter 2:2 - And many will go after their wickedness; they, on account of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed.    
2Peter 2:2 - And many will go after their profaneness; on account of whom, the way of truth will be reproached.   
2Peter 2:2 - Many will follow their pernicious ways, by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.   
2Peter 2:2 - וְרַבִּים יֵלְכוּ אַחֲרֵי תוֹעֲבוֹתָם וּבַעֲבוּרָם יֻתַּן דֶּרֶךְ הָאֱמֶת לְגִדּוּפִים׃   
2Peter 2:3 - וַבעָלוּבוּתָא וַבמֵלֵא דּבֵדיָא נֵתּתַּגּרוּן בּכוּן הָלֵין דּדִינהוּן מֵן קדִים לָא בָּטֵל וַאבדָּנהוּן לָא נָאֵם .   
2Peter 2:3 - And with fraudulency [Olubutho is used both for avaritia and defraudatio.] of deceptive words will they make merchandise of you; they, whose judgment (denounced) before tarrieth not, and whose destruction doth not sleep.    
2Peter 2:3 - And, in the cupidity of raving words, they will make merchandise of you: whose judgment, of a long time, is not idle; and their destruction slumbereth not.   
2Peter 2:3 - And through covetousness, they will exploit you with feigned words: whose judgment from the very beginning has not ceased and their damnation is always active.   
2Peter 2:3 - וּבְדִבְרֵי בִדּוּי יַעֲשׂוֹּ אֶתְכֶם לְמִסְחָר לָהֶם לְמַעַן בְּצֹעַ בָּצַע אֲשֶׁר מִשְׁפָּטָם מֵאָז לֹא יִתְמַהְמַהּ וְשִׁבְרָם לֹא יָנוּם׃    
2Peter 2:4 - אֵן גֵּיר אַלָהָא עַל מַלַאכֵא דַּחטַו לָא חָס אֵלָא בּשִׁשׁלָתָא דּעַמטָנָא עַגֵּן אֵנוּן בּתַחתָּיָתָא וַאשׁלֵם אֵנוּן דּנֵתנַטרוּן לדִינָא דּשׁוּנָקָא .   
2Peter 2:4 - For if Aloha upon the angels who sinned was not lenient, but in chains of darkness shut them in the deeps, and delivered them to be kept to the judgment of pain;    
2Peter 2:4 - For, if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to the infernal regions in chains of darkness, and delivered them up to be kept unto the judgment of torture,   
2Peter 2:4 - God did not spare the angels, who sinned, but cast them down to hell and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved for tormenting judgment;   
2Peter 2:4 - כִּי לֹא־חָס אֱלֹהִים עַל־הַמַּלְאָכִים אֲשֶׁר חָטְאוּ כִּי אִם־הוֹרִידָם לְקִצְבֵי הָרִים וַיַסְגִּירֵם בְּכַבְלֵי אֹפֶל לְשָׁמְרָם לַמִּשְׁפָּט׃   
2Peter 2:5 - ועַל עָלמָא קַדמָיָא לָא חָס אֵלָא לנוּח דַּתמָניָא כָּרוּזָא דּכאִנוּתָא נטַר כַּד טַופָנָא עַל עָלמָא דּרַשִׁיעֵא אַיתִּי .   
2Peter 2:5 - and on the former world was not lenient, but Nuch, who was the eighth preacher of righteousness, he preserved, when the deluge came upon the world of the wicked;    
2Peter 2:5 - and spared not the former world, but preserved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, when he brought a flood on the world of the wicked;   
2Peter 2:5 - And did not spare the old world, but saved Noah the preacher of righteousness, with his family, eight in all, when he brought the flood upon the wicked people;   
2Peter 2:5 - וְגַם־עַל־הַדּוֹרוֹת הָרִאשֹׁנִים לֹא חָס וַיִּשְׁמֹר רַק אֶת־נֹחַ קֹרֵא הַצֶּדֶק וְשִׁבְעָה עִמּוֹ בַּהֲבִיאוֹ אֶת־הַמַּבּוּל עַל־דּוֹר הָרְשָׁעִים׃   
2Peter 2:6 - וכַד לַמדִינָתָא דַּסדוּם וַדעַמוּרָא אַוקֵד ובַהפוּכיָא חַיֵב אֵנֵין כַּד תַּחוִיתָא לרַשִׁיעֵא דַּעתִידִין דּנֵהווּן סָם .   
2Peter 2:6 - the cities of Sadum and of Omuro he burned, and with overthrow condemned them, while an example to the wicked who should be he set them;    
2Peter 2:6 - [and] burned up the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah, and condemned them by an overthrow, making them a demonstration to the wicked who should come after them;   
2Peter 2:6 - And set afire the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah, and condemned them with an upheaval, making them an example to those who hereafter should live ungodly;   
2Peter 2:6 - וְאֶת־עָרֵי סְדוֹם וַעֲמֹרָה הָפַךְ לָאֵפֶר וְדָנָם בְּמַהְפֵּכָה וַיְשִׂימֵם לְמָשָׁל לַאֲשֶׁר עֲתִידִים לַעֲשׂוֹת זִמָּה׃    
2Peter 2:7 - אָפ ללוּט זַדִּיקָא דּמֵתקַפַּח הוָא מֵן הוּפָּכָא דַּבטַנפּוּתָא דּהָלֵין דַּדלָא נָמוּסָא אִיתַיהוּן הוַו פַּצִי .   
2Peter 2:7 - also Lut the righteous, who was bruised with the impure conversation of the lawless, he delivered;   
2Peter 2:7 - and also delivered righteous Lot, who was tormented with the filthy conduct of the lawless;   
2Peter 2:7 - And delivered righteous Lot, mortified by the filthy conduct of the lawless:   
2Peter 2:7 - וַיַּצֵּל אֶת־לוֹט הַצַּדִּיק אֲשֶׁר הֶלְאוּהוּ אַנְשֵׁי בְלִיַעַל הָהֵם בְּדַרְכֵי זִמָּתָם׃   
2Peter 2:8 - בַּחזָתָא גֵּיר וַבשֵׁמעָא כַּד עָמַר הוָא כּאִנָא הַו בַּינָתהוּן יוּם מֵן יוּם לנַפשֵׁה זַדִּיקתָּא בַּעבָדֵא דּלָא נָמוּס משַׁנֵק הוָא .    
2Peter 2:8 - -for in sight and in hearing, while (that) just (man) dwelt among them, from day to day, his righteous soul by their lawless works was tortured;-   
2Peter 2:8 - for that upright man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing from day to day, was distressed in his righteous soul by their lawless deeds;   
2Peter 2:8 - For while that pious man dwelt among them, in seeing and hearing their unlawful deeds, his righteous soul was vexed from day to day.   
2Peter 2:8 - כִּי הַצַּדִּיק הַזֶּה יָשַׁב בְּתוֹכָם וְהוּא רֹאֶה אֹתָם וְשֹׁמֵעַ וְנַפְשׁוֹ הַיְשָׁרָה עֲגוּמָה עָלָיו יוֹם וָיוֹם בְּמַעֲשֵׂי רִשְׁעָם׃    
2Peter 2:9 - יָדַע הוּ מָריָא דּנֵפרוּק מֵן אוּלצָנָא לַאילֵין דּדָחלִין לֵה לעַוָלֵא דֵּין ליַומָא דּדִינָא כַּד מֵשׁתַּנקִין נֵטַר .   
2Peter 2:9 - the Lord knoweth how to deliver from affliction them who fear him, but the evil unto the day of judgment to be tormented will he reserve.    
2Peter 2:9 - the Lord knoweth how to rescue from afflictions those who fear him; and he will reserve the wicked for the day of judgment to be tormented,   
2Peter 2:9 - The LORD knows how to deliver from distress those who revere him, and he will reserve the wicked to be punished at the judgment day   
2Peter 2:9 - כִּי יוֹדֵעַ יְהוָֹה לְהַצִּיל אֶת־חֲסִידָיו מִנִּסָּיוֹן וְלַחֲשׂךְ אֶת־הָרְשָׁעִים לְיוֹם הַמִּשְׁפָּט לְהָשִׁיב גְּמוּלָם לָהֶם׃    
2Peter 2:10 - יַתִּירָאיִת דֵּין לַאילֵין דּבָתַר בֵּסרָא בּרֵגּתָא דּטַמאוּתָא אָזִלין ועַל מָרוּתָא מבַסרִין מַרָחֵא וַמשַׁקלֵא דּמֵן תֵּשׁבּוּחתָּא לָא זִיעִין כַּד מגַדּפִין .   
2Peter 2:10 - But most those who after the flesh follow the concupiscence of impurity, and of authority are contemptuous; daring and arrogant, (and) who by greatness [or, glory, majesty.] are not moved while they blaspheme:    
2Peter 2:10 - and especially them who go after the flesh in the lusts of pollution, and despise government. Daring and arrogant, they shudder not with awe while they blaspheme;   
2Peter 2:10 - And especially will he punish those who follow after filthy lusts of the flesh, and have no respect for authority. Arrogant and selfwilled are they who do not tremble when they blaspheme against the glory;   
2Peter 2:10 - וּבְיוֹתֵר אֶת־הַהֹלְכִים אַחֲרֵי הַבָּשָׂר בְּתַאֲוֹת תֶּבֶל וּבֹזִים אֶת־הַמֶּמְשָׁלָה עַזֵּי פָנִים הֹלְכִים בִּשְׁרִירוּת לִבָּם וְלֹא יֶחֶרְדוּ מֵחָרֵף אֶת־הַשְּׂרָרוֹת׃   
2Peter 2:11 - אַיכָּא דּמַלַאכֵא דַּבחַילָא וַבעוּשׁנָא רַורבִין מֵנהוּן לָא מַיתֵּין עלַיהוּן מֵן מָריָא דִּינָא דּגוּדָּפָא .   
2Peter 2:11 - whereas angels, who in power and strength are (so much) greater than they, bring not against them a judgment of blasphemy.    
2Peter 2:11 - whereas angels, greater than they in might and valor, bring not against them a reproachful denunciation.    
2Peter 2:11 - Whereas angels who are greater in power and might do not bring upon themselves the condemnation of blasphemy.    
2Peter 2:11 - אֲשֶׁר אַף־הַמַּלְאָכִים הַגְּדוֹלִים מֵהֶם בְּעֹז וָכֹחַ לֹא יְגַדְּפוּם לִפְנֵי יְהוָֹה בְּמִשְׁפָּטָם׃   
2Peter 2:12 - הָלֵין דֵּין דַּאיכ חַיוָתָא חַרשָׁתָא הוַו בַּכיָנָא לחַרבָּא ולַחבָלָא כַּד בַּאילֵין דּלָא יָדעִין מגַדּפִין בַּחבָלָא דִּילהוּן נֵתחַבּלוּן .   
2Peter 2:12 - But these, as the dumb animals, by nature (ordained) to the knife and to destruction, blaspheming what they know not, in their own destruction will be destroyed;    
2Peter 2:12 - But these, like the dumb beasts that by nature are for slaughter and corruption, while reviling the things they know not, will perish in their own corruption;   
2Peter 2:12 - But these men, as natural brute beasts, made for slaughter and destruction, speak evil of the things which they do not understand; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption;   
2Peter 2:12 - וְאֵלֶּה כַּבְּהֵמוֹת הַסְּכָלוֹת הַנּוֹלָדוֹת כְּחָק־טִבְעָם לַלֶּכֶד וְלַשָּׁחַת בְּחֵרְפָם אֶת־אֲשֶׁר לֹא יָדְעוּ יִשָּׁחֲתוּ בְּהַשְׁחִית נַפְשָׁם וּגְמוּל עַוְלָתָם יִשָּׂאוּ׃   
2Peter 2:13 - כַּד אַילֵין דּהָוֵא בּהוּן עַולָא אַגרָא דּעַולָא הַנִיוּתָא חשִׁיב להוּן בּוּסָמָא דַּהוָא בּאִימָמָא מכַתּמֵא ומַליַי מוּמֵא דּכַד מֵתבַּסמִין בַּניָחָתהוּן מֵתפַּנקִין .   
2Peter 2:13 - while they in whom is iniquity the wages of iniquity shall receive. They repute as pleasure the luxury which is in the day. Blemishes (are they), full of spots, who delighting in their refreshments are luxurious:    
2Peter 2:13 - they being persons with whom iniquity is the reward of iniquity, and by them rioting in the daytime is accounted delightful; defiled and full of spots [are they], indulging themselves at their ease, while they give themselves up to pleasure;   
2Peter 2:13 - And shall receive the reward of iniquity as they consider it a delightful thing to revel in the daytime. Spots and blemishes have they who sport themselves with their own deceivings as they feast in idleness;   
2Peter 2:13 - אֲשֶׁר עֶדְנַת יוֹמָם לְעֹנֶג יַחְשֹׁבוּ מְגֹאָלִים וּמְזֻהָמִים הַמִּתְפַּנְּקִים בְּמַדּוּחֵי נַפְשָׁם וְאֹכְלִים וְשֹׁתִים עִמָּכֶם׃    
2Peter 2:14 - כַּד עַינֵא אִית להוּן דּמַליָן גַּורָא וַחטָהֵא דּלָא מַופֵּין כַּד משַׁדּלִין לנַפשָׁתָא דּלָא סמִיכָן ולֵבָּא דַּמדַרַשׁ בּעָלוּבוּתָא אִית להוּן בּנַיָא דּלַוטתָא .   
2Peter 2:14 - having eyes full of adultery, and sins which cease not, alluring souls that are not established. An heart have they which is disciplined in covetousness; sons of malediction,    
2Peter 2:14 - having eyes that are full of adultery, and sins that never end; seducing unstable souls; and having a heart exercised in cupidity; children of malediction:   
2Peter 2:14 - And have eyes full of adultery, and of sin that does not cease: beguiling, unstable souls are they whose hearts are well versed in covetousness: accursed sons are they.   
2Peter 2:14 - עֵינַיִם לָהֶם מְלֵאוֹת נִאֻפִים וְלֹא תִּשְׂבַּעְנָה לַחֲטֹא וְאֶת־נַפְשׁוֹת הַפְּתָאִים יְצוֹדֵדוּ וְלֵב מְלֻמַּד־בֶּצַע לָהֶם בְּנֵי הַמְּאֵרָה׃   
2Peter 2:15 - דּכַד שׁבַקו אוּרחָא תּרִיצתָּא שׁגַו וֵאזַלו בֻּאורחָא דּבֵלעַם בַּר בּעוּר הַו דַּאגרָא דּעַולָא אַחֵב .   
2Peter 2:15 - who, forsaking the straight way, have erred, and gone in the way of Belam bar Beur, who the wages of iniquity loved. But he had reproof of his transgression;

2Peter 2:15 - אֶת־הַדֶּרֶךְ הַיָּשָׁר עָזְבוּ וַיִּתְעוּ וַיֵּלְכוּ בְּדֶרֶךְ בִּלְעָם בֶּן־בְּעוֹר אֲשֶׁר אָהֵב שְׂכַר הָעַוְלָה׃   
2Peter 2:16 - מַכּסָנוּתָא דֵּין דַּהוָת לֵה למֵתעַברָנוּתֵה אַתָנָא דּלָא קָלָא דַּבקָלָא דַּבנַינָשָׁא מַללַת כּלָת לשָׁטיוּתֵה דַּנבִיָא .   
2Peter 2:16 - (for) the dumb ass which spake with the voice of man rebuked the madness of the prophet.    
2Peter 2:16 - and who had for the reprover of his transgression a dumb ass, which, speaking with the speech of men, rebuked the madness of the prophet.   
2Peter 2:16 - But who was rebuked for his iniquity: a dumb ass, speaking with man's voice, halted the folly of the prophet.    
2Peter 2:16 - וַתְּהִי־לוֹ תוֹכַחַת עַל־חַטָּאתוֹ כִּי הַבְּהֵמָה הָאִלֶּמֶת דִּבְּרָה בְקוֹל־אָדָם וַתַּעְצֹר בְּאִוֶּלֶת הַקֹּסֵם׃   
2Peter 2:17 - הָלֵין אֵנוּן מעִינֵא דּלָא מַיָא ענָנֵא דּמֵן עַלעָלָא מֵתרַדפָּן הָלֵין דּעַמטָנָא דּחֵשׁוּכָא נטִיר להוּן .   
2Peter 2:17 - These are wells without water, clouds driven from above, unto whom the blackness of darkness is reserved.

2Peter 2:17 - These men are springs without water, as clouds that are carried with a tempest; the mist of darkness is reserved to them forever.   
2Peter 2:17 - בְּאֵרוֹת בְּלִי־מַיִם הֵמָּה עָבִים נִדָּפִים בִּסְעָרָה אֲשֶׁר שָׁמוּר לָהֶם חֹשֶׁך־אֲפֵלָה לְעוֹלָם׃   
2Peter 2:18 - כַּד גֵּיר גּוּנחֵא דַּסרִיקוּתָא ממַללִין משַׁדּלִין בַּרגִיגָתָא טַנפָתָא דּבֵסרָא לַאילֵין דּבַמלֵא קַלִיל עָרקִין מֵן אַילֵין דַּבטָעיוּתָא מֵתהַפּכִין .   
2Peter 2:18 - For while they speak scoffing words of vanity, they allure with impure desires of the flesh those who almost escaped from them who have their conversation in error.    
2Peter 2:18 - For, while they utter astonishing vanity, they seduce, with obscene lusts of the flesh, them who have almost abandoned these that walk in error.   
2Peter 2:18 - For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the sensual lusts of the flesh; but there are those who flee at a word of warning from those who live in error.    
2Peter 2:18 - כִּי בְּדַבְּרָם בְּגֵאוּת דִּבְרֵי שָׁוְא יָצוּדוּ בְּתַאֲוֹת הַבָּשָׂר עַל־יְדֵי זִמָּתָם אֵת אֲשֶׁר אַךְ־נִמְלְטוּ מִידֵי הַהֹלְכִים בְּדֶרֶךְ תּוֹעָה׃   
2Peter 2:19 - וחאִרוּתָא להוּן מֵשׁתַּודֵּין כַּד הֵנוּן עַבדֵּא אִיתַיהוּן דַּחבָלָא להַו גֵּיר מֵדֵּם דּאנָשׁ זכֵא לֵה להָנָא אָפ משַׁעבַּד .    
2Peter 2:19 - And liberty to them they promise, while they (themselves) are the servants of corruption; for the thing by which a man is overcome, to that he is subject.

2Peter 2:20 - אֵן גֵּיר כַּד ערַקו מֵן טַנפּוָתֵה דּעָלמָא בּשׁוּודָּעֵה דּמָרַן יֵשׁוּע משִׁיחָא ופָרוּקַן בּהֵין בּהָלֵין כַּד מֵתעַרזלִין תּוּב מֵזדּכֵין הוָת לָה חַרתהוּן דּבִישָׁא מֵן קַדמָיתָּא .   
2Peter 2:20 - For if [when] they have escaped from the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jeshu Meshiha, with those very things entangled they are again over-come, their end becomes worse than the beginning.    
2Peter 2:20 - For if, when they have escaped the pollutions of the world by the knowledge of our Lord and Redeemer Jesus the Messiah, they become again involved in the same, and are vanquished, their latter state is worse than the former.

2Peter 2:21 - פַּקָח הוָא להוּן גֵּיר דּלָא נֵשׁתַּודּעוּן לֻאורחָא דּזַדִּיקוּתָא אַו דּכַד אֵשׁתַּודַּעו לבָתרָא נֵהפּכוּן מֵן פּוּקדָּנָא קַדִּישָׁא דֵּאשׁתּלֵם להוּן .   
2Peter 2:21 - For it had been more tolerable for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, when they knew, to turn backward from the holy commandment delivered to them.

2Peter 2:22 - גּדַשׁ להוּן דֵּין הָלֵין דּמַתלָא שַׁרִירָא דּכַלבָּא דַּהפַכ עַל תּיוּבֵה וַחזִירתָּא דַּסחָת בּעוּרגָּלָא דַּסיָנָא .   
2Peter 2:22 - But it hath happened to them according to the true proverb, that The dog hath turned unto his vomit; the sow which had washed into the wallow of the mire.    
2Peter 2:22 - But the true proverb hath happened to them: the dog returneth to his vomit and the sow that was washed, to her wallowing in the mire.

2Peter 2:22 - וְקָרָה לָהֶם כַּאֲשֶׁר יֹאמַר מְשַׁל הָאֱמֶת הַכֶּלֶב שָׁב עַל־קֵאוֹ וְהַחֲזִיר עֹלֶה מִן־הָרַחְצָה לְהִתְגֹּלֵל בָּרָפֶשׁ׃    
2Peter 3:1 - הָדֵא מֵן כַּדּוּ חַבִּיבַי אֵגַּרתָּא דּתַרתֵּין כָּתֵב אנָא לכוּן הָלֵין דַּבהֵין מעִיר אנָא בּעוּהדָּנָא לרֵעיָנכוּן שַׁפיָא .   
2Peter 3:1 - Now this, my beloved, the second epistle I write to you; in both of which I awaken to remembrance your fair [Reyoncun shaphira.] mind.    
2Peter 3:1 - This second epistle, my beloved, I now write to you; in [both of] which I stir up your honest mind by admonition:    
2Peter 3:1 - IT has been a long time since I have writ ten you, my beloved, but now I write you this second epistle; in both of them I have endeavored to stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance:    
2Peter 3:1 - זֹאת הָאִגֶּרֶת הַשֵּׁנִית אֲשֶׁר אֲנִי כֹתֵב אֲלֵיכֶם חֲבִיבָי וּבִשְׁתֵּיהֶן כְּמַזְכִּיר אָעִיר אֶת־תֻּמַּת לְבַבְכֶם׃    
2Peter 3:2 - דּתֵתַעהדּוּן למֵלֵא דּקַדֵּם אֵתֵאמַר מֵן נבִיֵא קַדִּישֵׁא וַלפוּקדָּנֵה דּמָרַן ופָרוּקַן דַּביַד שׁלִיחֵא .   
2Peter 3:2 - That you may remember the words which were before spoken by the holy prophets, and the commandments of our Lord and our Saviour (delivered) by the apostles.    
2Peter 3:2 - that ye may be mindful of the words which were formerly spoken by the holy prophets, and of the injunction of our Lord and Redeemer by the hand of the legates:   
2Peter 3:2 - That you may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment, given through us, the Apostles of our LORD and Saviour:   
2Peter 3:2 - לִזְכֹּר אֶת־הַדְּבָרִים הַנֶּאֱמָרִים מִקֶּדֶם בִּידֵי הַנְּבִיאִים הַקְּדֹשִׁים וְאֶת־מִצְוַת אֲדֹנֵינוּ וּמוֹשִׁיעֵנוּ אֲשֶׁר נִתְּנָה עַל־יְדֵי שְׁלִיחֵיכֶם׃   
2Peter 3:3 - כַּד הָדֵא לוּקדַם יָדעִין אנתּוּן דּנאִתוּן בּחַרתָא דּיַומָתָא מבַזחָנֵא דַּמבַזחִין כַּד אַיכ רגִיגָתָא דִּילהוּן מהַלכִין .   
2Peter 3:3 - This first know you, that there will come in the last of the days deriders who will deride, as after their own lusts they walk,    
2Peter 3:3 - knowing this previously, that there will come in the last days scoffers, who will scoff, walking according to their own lusts;   
2Peter 3:3 - Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days mockers who scoff, following after their own lusts,    
2Peter 3:3 - וּדְעוּ זֹאת לָכֶם רִאשֹׁנָה כִּי בְּאַחֲרִית הַיָּמִים יָבֹאוּ לֵצִים הֹלְכִים אַחֲרֵי תַאֲוֹת נַפְשָׁם וְיִתְלוֹצֲצוּ לֵאמֹר׃   
2Peter 3:4 - וָאמרִין דַּאיכָּא אִיתַוהי מוּלכָּנָא דּמֵאתִיתֵה מֵן כַּד גֵּיר אַבָהָתַן שׁכֵבו כֻּלמֵדֵּם הָכַנָא מכַתַּר מֵן שׁוּרָיָה דַּברִיתָא .    
2Peter 3:4 - and saying, Where is the promise of his advent ? for, since our fathers have slept, every thing (abideth) as from the beginning of the creation.    
2Peter 3:4 - and saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for, since our fathers fell asleep, every thing remaineth just as from the beginning of the creation.   
2Peter 3:4 - And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since our fathers passed away, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.   
2Peter 3:4 - אַיֵּה הַבְטָחַת בֹּאוֹ כִּי מֵאָז שָׁכְבוּ הָאָבוֹת הַכֹּל עֹמֵד כְּמוֹ מֵרֵאשִׁית הַבְּרִיאָה׃   
2Peter 3:5 - טָעיָא להוּן גֵּיר הָדֵא כַּד צָבֵין דַּשׁמַיָא אִיתַיהוּן הוַו מֵן קדִים וַארעָא מֵן מַיָא וַביַד מַיָא קָמַת בּמֵלתָא דַּאלָהָא .   
2Peter 3:5 - Unknown to them is this while they are willing, that the heaven was from of old, and the earth from the waters and through the waters [Men myo, vabyad myo komath.] subsisted, by the word of Aloha:    
2Peter 3:5 - For this they willingly forget, that the heavens were of old; and the earth rose up from the waters, and by means of water, by the word of God.   
2Peter 3:5 - Of this they are willingly ignorant: that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of water, and in the water;   
2Peter 3:5 - וְנֶעְלָם מִדַּעְתָּם לִרְצוֹנָם שֶׁלְּפָנִים בִּדְבַר אֱלֹהִים נַעֲשׂוֹּ הַשָּׁמַיִם וְהָאָרֶץ מִן־הַמַּיִם וְעַל־יְדֵי הַמָּיִם׃    
2Peter 3:6 - הָלֵין דּבאִידַיהוּן עָלמָא דּהָידֵּין טָפ בּמַיָא וֵאבַד .    
2Peter 3:6 - those (waters) by which the world that then was, again (was covered) with waters, and perished.    
2Peter 3:6 - [And], by means of these [waters], the world which then was, [being submerged] again perished in the waters.    
2Peter 3:6 - And those men, because of whose deeds the world of that time was overflowed with water, perished:   
2Peter 3:6 - וְעַל יְדֵיהֶם אָבְדָה תֵבֵל אֲשֶׁר מֵאָז כִּי נִשְׁטְפָה בְּמֵי הַמַּבּוּל׃   
2Peter 3:7 - שׁמַיָא דֵּין דּהָשָׁא וַארעָא בּמֵלתָא דִּילֵה אַסִינִין כַּד לנוּרָא מֵתנַטרִין ליַומָא דּדִינָא ודַאבדָּנָא דַּבנַינָשָׁא רַשִׁיעֵא .    
2Peter 3:7 - But the heaven which is now, and the earth, by his own word are set, being reserved unto fire, unto the day of judgment and the perdition of wicked men.    
2Peter 3:7 - And the heavens that now are, and the earth, are by his word stored up, being reserved for the fire at the day of judgment and the perdition of wicked men.   
2Peter 3:7 - But the present heavens and earth are sustained by his word, and are reserved for fire on the day of judgment which is the day of destruction of ungodly men.   
2Peter 3:7 - גַּם־הַשָּׁמַיִם וְהָאָרֶץ אֲשֶׁר לְפָנֵינוּ נִצְפְּנוּ בִדְבָרוֹ וְהֵם שְׁמוּרִים לָאֵשׁ לְיוֹם הַדִּין וַאֲבֹד אַנְשֵׁי הָרֶשַׁע׃    
2Peter 3:8 - הָדֵא דֵּין חדָא לָא תֵּטעֵיכוּן חַבִּיבַי דּחַד יַומָא למָריָא אַיכ אָלֵפ שׁנִין אִיתַוהי וָאלֵפ שׁנִין אַיכ יַומָא חַד .   
2Peter 3:8 - But this one (truth) be not ignorant of, my beloved, That one day with the Lord (is) as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.    
2Peter 3:8 - And of this one thing, my beloved, be not forgetful, That one day, to the Lord, is as a thousand years; and a thousand years, as one day.   
2Peter 3:8 - But, my beloved, do not forget this one thing, that one day is with the LORD as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.   
2Peter 3:8 - וְזֹאת הָאַחַת אַל־תֵּעָלֵם מִכֶּם חֲבִיבָי שֶׁיּוֹם אֶחָד כְּאֶלֶף שָׁנִים בְּעֵינֵי יְהוָֹה וְאֶלֶף שָׁנִים כְּיוֹם אֶחָד׃   
2Peter 3:9 - לָא מֵשׁתַּוחַר מָריָא בּמוּלכָּנַוהי אַיכ דּאנָשִׁין שׁוּוחָרָא מַסבּרִין אֵלָא מַגַּר רוּחֵה מֵטֻלָתכוּן בַּדלָא צָבֵא דּאנָשׁ נאִבַד אֵלָא כֻּלנָשׁ לַתיָבוּתָא נאִתֵא .   
2Peter 3:9 - Not dilatory is the Lord in his promises, as some consider delay; but is patient on your account, not willing that any man should perish, but (that) every man to repentance should come.    
2Peter 3:9 - The Lord doth not procrastinate his promises, as some estimate procrastination; but he is long suffering, for your sakes, being not willing that any should perish, but that every one should come to repentance.   
2Peter 3:9 - The LORD is not negligent concerning his promises, as some men count negligence; but is longsuffering toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.    
2Peter 3:9 - וְלֹא־יְאַחֵר יְהוָֹה אֶת־אֲשֶׁר הִבְטִיחַ כַּאֲשֶׁר־יֵשׁ חֹשְׁבִים זֹאת לְאִחוּר כִּי מַאֲרִיךְ אַפּוֹ בַּעֲבוּרֵנוּ וְלֹא יַחְפֹּץ בַּאֲבֹד הָאֹבְדִים כִּי אִם־בִּפְנוֹת כֻּלָּם לַתְּשׁוּבָה׃   
2Peter 3:10 - אָתֵא דֵּין יַומֵה דּמָריָא אַיכ גַּנָבָא הַו דּבֵה שׁמַיָא מֵן שֵׁלי עָברִין אֵסטוּכּסֵא דֵּין כַּד יָקדִּין נֵשׁתּרוּן וַארעָא וַעבָדֵא דּבָה תֵּשׁתּכַח .   
2Peter 3:10 - But the day of the Lord cometh as a thief: that (day) in which the heavens suddenly [Mensheli.] shall pass away, but the elements burning be dissolved, and the earth and the works that are in it be found not.    
2Peter 3:10 - And the day of the Lord will come, like a thief; in which the heavens will suddenly pass away; and the elements, being ignited, will be dissolved; and the earth and the works in it, will not be found.   
2Peter 3:10 - But the day of the LORD will come as a thief in the night, when the heavens shall suddenly pass away, and the universe shall separate as it burns, and the earth also and the works that are in it, shall pass away.   
2Peter 3:10 - בֹּא יָבֹא יוֹם־יְהוָֹה כְּגַנָּב בַּלָּיְלָה אָז הַשָּׁמַיִם בְּשָׁאוֹן יַחֲלֹפוּ וְהַיְסֹדוֹת יְבֹעֲרוּ וְהִתְמֹגֲגוּ וְהָאָרֶץ וְהַמַּעֲשִׂים אֲשֶׁר עָלֶיהָ יִשָּׂרֵפוּ׃   
2Peter 3:11 - כַּד הָכִיל הָלֵין כֻּלהוּן מֵשׁתּרֵין דַּאיכ אַילֵין זָדֵק לכוּן דּתֵהווּן בּהוּפָּכַיכּוּן קַדִּישֵׁא וַבדֵחלַת אַלָהָא .   
2Peter 3:11 - As, therefore, all these are to be dissolved, how behoveth it you to be holy in your conversation, and in the fear of Aloha;    
2Peter 3:11 - As therefore all these things are to be dissolved, what persons ought ye to be, in holy conduct, and in the fear of God,

2Peter 3:12 - כַּד מסַכֵּין אנתּוּן וסָוחִין אנתּוּן למֵאתִיתָא דּיַומֵה דַּאלָהָא הַו דּבֵה שׁמַיָא כַּד מֵתבַּחרִין בּנוּרָא נֵשׁתּרוּן וֵאסטוּכּסֵא כַּד יָקדִּין נשׁוּחוּן .   
2Peter 3:12 - expecting and desiring the coming of the day of Aloha; that (day) in which the heavens, tried with fire, shall be dissolved, and the elements burning shall melt ?    
2Peter 3:12 - expecting and desiring the coming of the day of God, in which the heavens being tried by fire will be dissolved, and the elements being ignited will melt ?   
2Peter 3:12 - Looking for and longing for the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being tested with fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?   
2Peter 3:12 - וּלְחַכּוֹת לְיוֹם־יְהוָֹה שֶׁיָּבֹא וּלְהָחִישׁ אֹתוֹ אֲשֶׁר בּוֹ הַשָּׁמַיִם יָמוּגוּ בָאֵשׁ וְהַיְסֹדוֹת יְבֹעֲרוּ וְנָמַסּוּ׃    
2Peter 3:13 - לַשׁמַיָא דֵּין חַדתֵא וַארעָא חדַתָא אַיכ מוּלכָּנָא דִּילֵה מסַכֵּינַן הָלֵין דַּבהוּן זַדִּיקוּתָא עָמרָא .   
2Peter 3:13 - But new heavens and earth, according to his promise, we expect; those wherein righteousness dwelleth.    
2Peter 3:13 - But we, according to his promise, expect new heavens, and a new earth, in which righteousness dwelleth.   
2Peter 3:13 - Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, in which dwells righteousness.    
2Peter 3:13 - וַאֲנַחְנוּ כְּפִי הַבְטָחָתוֹ מְחַכִּים לְשָׁמַיִם חֲדָשִׁים וּלְאֶרֶץ חֲדָשָׁה אֲשֶׁר־צֶדֶק יָלִין בָּם׃   
2Peter 3:14 - מֵטֻל הָנָא חַבִּיבַי כַּד להָלֵין מסַכֵּין אנתּוּן יִצַפו דַּדלָא כּוּתמָא וַדלָא מוּמָא לֵה תֵּשׁתַּכחוּן בַּשׁלָמָא .   
2Peter 3:14 - Wherefore, my beloved, while these you expect, be diligent, that, without blemish and without spot, of Him you may be found in peace.    
2Peter 3:14 - Therefore, my beloved, as ye expect these things, strive that ye may be found by him in peace, without spot and without blemish.

2Peter 3:15 - וַלמַגּרַת רוּחֵה דּמָריָא פּוּרקָנָא תֵּחשׁבוּן אַיכַּנָא דָּאפ אַחוּן חַבִּיבָא פַּולָוס אַיכ חֵכמתָא דֵּאתיַהבַּת לֵה כּתַב לכוּן .    
2Peter 3:15 - And the long-suffering of the Lord consider (to be for) salvation; as also our beloved brother Paulos according to the wisdom which hath been given to him hath written to you.    
2Peter 3:15 - And account the long suffering of the Lord to be redemption; as also our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom conferred on him, wrote to you;

2Peter 3:15 - וְאֶת־אֹרֶךְ רוּחַ אֲדֹנֵינוּ תַּחְשְׁבוּ לִתְשׁוּעָה כַּאֲשֶׁר גַּם־אָחִינוּ הָאָהוּב פּוֹלוֹס כָּתַב אֲלֵיכֶם כְּפִי הַחָכְמָה הַנְּתוּנָה לוֹ׃   
2Peter 3:16 - אַיכַּנָא דַּבכֻלהֵין אֵגּרָתֵה מַלֵל בּהֵין עַל הָלֵין אַילֵין דּאִית בּהֵין מֵדֵּם דַּעסִיק לסוּכָּלָא הָלֵין דַּאילֵין דַּדלָא יוּלפָּנָא אֵנוּן ולָא סמִיכִין מעַקמִין להֵין אַיכ דָּאפ להָלֵין כּתָבֵא דּשַׁרכָּא לוָת אַבדָּנָא דִּילהוּן .   
2Peter 3:16 - As in all his epistles he speaks concerning these; in which there is somewhat difficult for intelligence. Those who are not knowing nor settled pervert them, as also the remaining scriptures, to their perdition.

2Peter 3:17 - אַנתּוּן הָכִיל חַבִּיבַי כַּד קָדמִין אנתּוּן יָדעִין טַרו נַפשׁכוּן דּדַלמָא כַּד אָזִלין אנתּוּן בָּתַר טָעיוּתָא דַּאילֵין דַּדלָא נָמוּס אֵנוּן תֵּפּלוּן מֵן סָמכָּא דִּילכוּן .   
2Peter 3:17 - You therefore, my beloved, knowing this before, keep yourselves, lest, going after the error of those who are lawless, you fall from your support.

2Peter 3:18 - הוַיתּוּן דֵּין מֵתרַבֵּין בּטַיבּוּתָא ובִידַעתָא דּמָרַן ופָרוּקַן יֵשׁוּע משִׁיחָא ודַאלָהָא אַבָא דּלֵה תֵּשׁבּוּחתָּא אָפ הָשָׁא וַבכֻלזבַן וַליַומַי עָלמָא אַמִין .   
2Peter 3:18 - But increase in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and our Saviour Jeshu Meshiha, and (of) Aloha the Father, Whose be glory both now, and in all time, and to the days eternal. Amen.
